* GIBSON *

My Precious Gibson…
We have a secret you and I, that no one else shall know.
For who but I, can see you lie beside me, each night in the fire glow?
For who but I, can reach my hand before we go to bed,
and feel the living warmth of you and touch your silky head?
For only I, walk woodland paths and see ahead of me,
your small shape running with the wind, so young again and free.
For only I, can see you swim in every brook I pass...
and when I call your name, no one but I, can see the bending grass...

My best friend is chasing pheasants at the eternal happy hunting grounds...
But I can't accept - that he will not come back???
I still miss him so terribly much!!!

Once in a lifetime...
you have the honour to live with a dog that has it all!!!

"Eye catching black and tan. Beautifully constructed.
Excels in head, neck and shoulders. All quality! All cocker! Super type!"
Pam Walker, kennel Cardamine, 2008

It feels so terribly difficult to change the word is to was...

Gibson was my everything, my pride and joy, and the world's most charming cocker!
He was the apple of my eye, so sweet and amazing, you needed no sugar!

Gibson was very loving and considerate with the ladies and a proud father of many lovely offspring. See them here»

Gibson was a true merry Cocker, a typical gundog with the will to please, liked to carry everything. He had a great passion for water and pheasants. His father Elmore was our idol and a very highly qualified male. Thanks to him, we discovered hunting interest and we trained and started at field trials over several years, to Gibson's delight. He got his first pheasants at Club Championship -99. Impressed, I saw my dearest boy retrieving a big pheasant rooster with incredible pride! This was a special memory and I realized that a Cocker truly IS a gundog! Our biggest day was when my precious managed to gain the Field Trial Award!!! A true dual purpose dog!

Gibson loved me to the moon and back and did anything for me. He had a wonderful mentality, very masculine and charming character. He was always easy to learn, flexible and cooperative. He was very social and took the custom to where he came. He forfilled our lives with glorious moments! We have experienced so much fun together! He has, among other things, participated in real hunting on fine mansions, rewarded with a lot of CQ, CAC, Best hunting dog and Best Veteran at the shows! Besides his lovely temperament and qualifications, he was a very happy healthy dog with white teeth and fabulous coloured. He was an incredibly well-preserved gentleman who wore his years with honour.

At the age of nearly 13, my Precious suddenly got a stroke... and was gone in five minutes......

The apple of my eye has left me! I will never never never forget you!
Miss you so much!!! My once in a lifetime dog!!!
