December 26th
What a nice Christmas we have! On Christmas Eve we got some extra delicious food and we've got some really nice gifts! Is there anything funnier then opening presents?! It's cold here but not as cold as pore Milton has up in the North -30 degrees Celsius!!! That's really COLD! A lot of new Christmas Greetings are updated.

December 22nd
We've got so many lovely Christmas Cards ~ look here! It's really nice with all these greetings! Gosh, it smells so heavenly nice at home! We dribble all over the kitchen... :o)  Annika is making the Christmas food, so we're not fond of leaving the house... even if it's fun with the snow! Think of all these little Swedish meatballs waiting!!!

December: Welcome to "The Beach Boys"!!!

We have moved!  
Annika has had "homesick" for a long time... so now we have moved to the West Coast, and have also become "The Beach Boys"! We live in a very sweet house in a town called Varberg, 70 km south of Gothenburg. We have the beach, forest and open landscape almost around the corner.

During this time Gibson has had his 4th birthday! We have practiced some tracking... packed all our belongings... visited our friends and looked at black'n tan puppies... WE MISS YOU ALL!

Annika visited the Spaniel & Retriever Club's show, where she showed SHCH Manaca's Peeping Tom to 5th place in the Champion Class. We would also like to congratulate our friends Claramand B'Dazzled - that gained the CC and 2nd Best Male, Shakima's What A Surprise - the bitches CC and BOS, Cockados Major Tom - BOB Veterans! Congratulations to you all!

October 23-24th
Finally we're talking about real birds here! Lots of beautiful big pheasants! We were invited to a real bird hunting, which was really appreciated! And Gibson worked with such joy that he almost got crazy, SO MUCH FUN! Guess who slept all the way home...

Well, Gibson started at a Field Trial today. He made a good trial but unfortunately also this time it wasn't a bird in sight... The rules says you must find a bird to be awarded... (Life isn't fair...)

I'm Anita with Gibson's puppy Clara (Tullebyns Two For The Show). Thought you wanted to know a bit about her. I have had Cocker since -92 but none like Clara. She's SO fantastic!!!! My old Cocker Charlie was indeed fantastic but Clara strikes higher. Clara has no idea what stress is, which unfortunately is a bit common in the breed. And she's a true Cocker that retrieves EVERYTHING! Clara is also a true tracking dog, despite her young age. She manages 3 hours track from a person with angles and dummies, furthermore also almost ready for obedience class. Besides that, she has a very good firm. I can leave her almost everywhere with other dogs around, and she sits still! Oh, I could write a novel about my fabulous puppy! It would be really nice to meet Gibson! I often visit your site and read about your activities, the site is really great!!! P.S: We've been at a show too and Clara gained BOB-puppy with a very nice critic, among other "Adorable puppy bitch with incredible nice movements". Guess if I'm proud!!!"

The Field Trial Season is here! Unfortunately we didn't make it this weekend, it wasn't a bird in sight... but we've got a lot of experience. Thanks to the Judge for the great lesson. Thanks Mr. Mabrouk for your good advices and to the Field Trial Champion title with "Purdey"!

September 30th
Today we've been at the stable, and Timmy even went for a ride in the tractor!

We've gained The Black'n Tan award from Fancy Paws!

September 29th
Today our Cocker Club had an activity day, so fun! We had a "combined open-air walking and quiz competition", sausage searching, dog race. Well done to all the puppies who had made the puppy course!

September 9th
Today we've been helping the Springer Spaniel Club here in our district with their competition "Östgöta Champion in Dual Purpose 2001". They started the morning with the show where Annika was ringmaster. Then it was time for the Water test where I "Gibson" were "stand-in-fetcher", and the last part was the Field trial. All these things during the day, gave scores that at the end identified the best Springer Spaniel Champion in Dual Purpose 2001.

August 26th
The Cocker Club in our district had our Open Show and we invited Mrs. June Hill, kennel Judena to judge - what a lovely lady! Annika is very glad to have made acquaintance of such a great person.

How it went for Gibson? Well, he was shown in the Open Dog Class and came 2nd with a Special Prize among 10 with this nice critic: "Handsome dog. Good head. Nice eye. Good neck and shoulders. Excellent coat and condition. Good topline. Moved well". Among 24 dogs Gibson came "6th" Best Male again!

August 18th
Gibson approved in The Water Test for 2001!
"Steady at gunshot and throw, marks good, goes gladly in the water, fetches bird, swims well directly in to owner with a good grip and deliver". Judge was Mr. Christer Janérus.

Wow! Gibson has been at The Cocker Championship where Mrs. Elaine Thomas, kennel Claramand was the judge this year. She placed him 3rd with a CC-quality in the Open Dog Class among 15! 6th Best Male among 30! THANK YOU Anette and Leanna for taking care of him! Annika and Timmy were at a masquerade with lots of great food!

July 29th
YES!!! Now Annika has two good Game Tracking dogs!
Timmy gained a 2nd prize in Open class! and even Gibson started for the first time and got The Aptitude Test approved!!! + The Hunting Society's Special Prize! "Pass without hesitation" on all distances, with the summary; "A good dog that needs routine, then he will be really good!". /Mr. Gunnar Gunnarsson

July 21st
Annika has been at the computer again... (it has rain some days...) so we have a new layout with some changes at the site, new links and awards! We are training for the Game Tracking... (!) and the stable begins to look like something... :o)

July 9th
This weekend Gibson and Annika had a pleasant journey to her sister on the West Coast, and the Kennel Club's Show in Halmstad. On Saturday Gibson came 3rd among 6, and on Sunday he came 2nd in the Open Dog Class.

June 29th
"Country life!" We are having such a nice holiday in the country this week! We're running around in the big fields, taking a break in the shadow or a cool swim in the lagoon! (and keeping the stable cats busy... :o)) But Annika doesn't have the time to be lazy right now... she's helping her friend re-building the stable and tomorrow it's hay-making... This weekend Gibson and Annika had a journey to Sjösvängen's Kennel again, and they had a really nice time! On Saturday Gibson was shown for Mrs. Ann Holmes, kennel Kenan at an Open Show and came 3rd among 10 in the Open Dog Class. Timmy had a pleasant weekend at our friend Helén's place, thanks pal! (he told me that he got a nice drive in the car and some delicious snacks!)

Today we have been at an Unofficial Show where Gibson took the BOS!!! He's a gentleman so he gave the BOB to his old girlfriend Muffan, and she even took the BIG and finally 4th BIS!!! Congratulations honey!

Yeah! Annika has got a brand new computer as a birthday gift from her dear mom!!! (she's the best!) And of course Annika wanted to make a new design again... ;o) there's a few changes on the pages and we've also got some new cocker links from other countries.

This weekend Gibson and Annika had a journey to Sjösvängen's Kennel again, and they had a really nice time! On Saturday we finally met Gibson's adorable puppies at Tullebyn's Kennel! Hugs and kisses to you all! On Sunday "Lotten" was shown and came 4th Best Bitch. Later we practised some fetching with mallards, thanks Annis and Lollo! Timmy and Tiger had a pleasant weekend at our friend Helén's place, thanks pal!

April 19th
Annika wants to thank you all for the nice Easter Greetings that she got in her mailbox, and we hope you had a pleasant Easter! Guess what happened today? Annika practised some tracking with Gibson, witch went very well. Then she went home and changed to Timmy. It started well but after a while Timmy met a really beautiful Pheasant cock for the first time!!! I must say it was a big experience! We lost the track for a while... if you know what I mean ;o) O'boy - now Gibson will be jealous!

After a lot of "mess" with the computer again, we are now back with some fresh news! >> The Swedish Spaniel & Retriever Club had a show last weekend. Gibson's son Mel (Fancy Paws Devoted To Mel) was shown and came 2nd Best Puppy Male with the Special Prize! Congratulations Mel and Anders!!! Keep up the good work!

The Danish Kennel Club had their show February the 28th, and Gibson's Danish little son Robin (Fancy Paws Dedicated To AniBell) was shown in the Puppy Class. Robin got a very nice critic: "Very promising puppy, very nice head, lovely impression, correct teeth. Very good neck and shoulders for the age, nice topline, excellent body and structure. Very good coat, lovely temperament and movements". The judge was Mr. Kim Bay and he choose Robin to BOB! Later he also came 3rd BIS among 29 puppies!!! CONGRATULATIONS Robin and Anne!!!

- The Boys are back in business! - At last we can update the site again! The computer got a nasty virus, but now it's well again...

16th Mel and Gibson met each other today!!! Mel is still a handsome young puppy, full of mischief and he even got daddy Gibson to play with him! The 3rd of February we're showing him and his brother at a show for the first time!

13th Spaniels at a Retriever Show? We've heard that they have a lot of meatballs at Retriever Shows so we had to check it out. Annika helped a friend show her Flat Coated Retrievers and one of them came 2nd Best Bitch and the veteran bitch came 2nd in her class! Congratulations!
