December 30th:
Thank you all for
the lovely Holiday
Greetings! And THANKS
to Monica
Andersson for
the perfect collars
Annika bought for us as
Christmas presents! You
can see the "hunting-collar"
in photo
album
#18
After all the
georgeus Christmas
dinners it was nice to
take a really long walk
together with friends. 16
people and 9 dogs where
Gibson had one mother
in law, two wifes and
three children with him
from 3rd and 5th litter.
After 5 km we stopped and
had some hot dogs over
an open fire in a
glade, a nice day in
the forest!
December 18
- 19th:
Been at Annika's mum,
our "gran ma",
kuddling with her four
little sweeties of
Persian/Exotic! Most
welcome to take a look
here at Åsa's
Persians » And
we've got a lot of nice
Holiday Greetings, for
instance from Gibson's
lad Teo which is
presented at the front
page! December 10-12th:
Swedish Winner 2004,
Stockholm International
Dog Show. We were
invited to represent
our breed
Cocker Spaniel, thanks!
We were responcible for
the
exhibition case and
showed off in The All
Breed Parade. Annika in
full hunting dress with
a toy gun and Gibson
carrying a Mallard,
well done! We were even
picked out in the
finals for the 10
"best dressed to
your dogs origin".
We felt we did an
important job all day
long both Saturday and
Sunday, talking about
the Cocker, met a lot
of interested people
and a lot of friends,
hi! Gibson was also
very bisy - charming
visitors, walk the
parade and sleeping
over at Manaca's kennel
- with two old girls in
heat...
puh! Thanks to Mrs. Monica Forsander
for your warm
hospitality! It was a
fun weekend but we
slept all Monday long...
:o) Our
warm thoughts to
Gibson's father Elmore
(LP SUCH FINUCH NUCH
NORDUCH INTUCH
Paisley's Elmore James) who left the world as
a legend!
December 9th
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Gibson's 4th litter is 1 years old today!
Hip, hip,
hurrah! |
December
5th:
Woops! Today we went
for an Open Show nereby
to practise with the
young ones. Saga
behaved really good and
was placed as 2nd bitch in
junior
class. Classe followed
his halfsister also to
a 2nd place among the
junior dogs. Then Gibson
showed himself to Best
Dog! His older lass
Lina got the 4th place
among the bitches and
then Gibson finished by
winning BOS!
Later in the afternoon
we had a really nice
long walk in the forest
at Classe's domains,
gosh what fun it is to
just run around and
get dirty as much as
you please!
November 21st:
Offspring-meeting!
With -2 Celsius, nice frost and
a lovely sunshine we
had a puppy meeting
with Gibson & Maja's
litter! Five happy cockers
running in the fields
is a real pleasure to
see. We also tried some
tracking and finished
the day with warm
chocolate and
sandwiches. A picture
can be seen at puppies
with litter 3.
November 13th:
Mr Kenneth Edh is a very nice and gentle Judge so Gibson's offspring
Classe and Noella were shown for him att SSRK Åstorp in junior class.
Bouncing Classe got Reserv and Sister Frisky didn't want to be placed at
all... :o)
Daddy Gibson made his premier in the veteran class: "Excellent
type & impression. Masculine dog with excellent proportions. Very
lovely head and expression. Dark nice eyes. Well placed ears. Good neck
& topline. Good set of tail. Well formed chest. Nice angulations.
Good bonestructure & nice paws. Lovely coat & clean nice tan
markings. Moves with drive. Excellent condition for his age. Fresh teeth."
Yes, he liked my Gibson very much so he placed him
as Best Veteran with CC-quality and 2nd Best Dog!
Gibson also won Zvenskbrickan's Challenge Cup again as Best Working
dog!
And in the Veterans final he took a nice BIS-4!!!

November 11th:
On Monday morning we
dragged ourselfs from
the bed at 4:00 AM for
a trip across the
country to Kalmar with "grandma"
and one of her persians
to the "special
vet" - you
know, only the best is
good enough! Well, it's
fun to ride in the car
and just to be together
so way not? Took the
bridge over to the
Iceland of Öland
during the day in sunny
sunshine, look at some
photos in photo
album
#17.
Speak of the best! Have
you ever got some
delicious goose liver?
We have! Nice with a
mistress who works with
Catering... sometimes
she takes home some
leftovers and now
they've been making
food for Thanksgiving.
So she dried the
turkey's inside in the
owen for treats for us!
Yummy!!!

November 3rd:
HAPPY
BIRTHDAY GIBSON!!!
Our precious is a lovely Veteran
today!
Lots of hugs & kisses to you!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE
YOU!!!

|
At first it was hard to
understand that my
beloved Gibson actually
becomes a Veteran
today... Time do fly...
I remember this first
picture like yesterday... Thanks
Sven-Erik for this
adorable black'n tan
puppyboy I met and fell
in love with... He is my
TRUE LOVE! To honour the day
I've taken out his
big great pheasant
from the freezer!
Gosh, what fun he
will have today! Gibson
has also new pictures at his
page.
Nov
4th: Annika is the best!
I had a super day
and met a lot of
pheasants! So when
they flew up and
away I could fetch
my old birds instead,
especially my own
pheasant! In the
evening all my
friends came and
gave me nice
presents, biscuits
and treats! And
Annika gave me the
biggest meatloaf
I've ever seen! So
today I'm doing
pretty much nothing...
:o) Cheers Gibson

October
28th:
We totally forgot to
tell about our photoalbum
#17
and some new pics of
Gibson's puppies
with Selma, see the
Puppy Gallery in litter
4.
October 23rd:
Gibson was shown in Gundog class
for the
last time... at
our County Kennel
Club's 20th
anniversary. It
was fun 'cause he
had four offspring
with him! Annika
got the honour to
nicely show his
son Classe
to a 3rd place.
Litter sister
Noella made a 4th place
among the puppy
bitches. Time for
daddy Gibson who
gained BOB-Gundog and
took Reserv Best
Dog! Next
out in Junior Class,
the siblings Saga &
Skrållan. They came 3rd
and Reserv, well
done everyone! |
Gibson with Noella &
Classe |
October 16-17th:
*is it party or what!?*
Isn't Autumn just
wonderful... besides
chilly wet weather it's
just beautiful with all
it's colours and the
best of activities -
according to Gibson! Think
of all these funny
birds (pheasants &
partridge) you can find
almost everywhere in
the bushes! Good
heavens, so much fun!
Sometimes you almost
jump out of your skin
with joy! But Annika
did say some
§#&#¤% so you had
to chill down a
bit... DID stay
for a wild rabbit the
other day actually,
good boy!
October 9-10th:
We stayed at
Grandma's all
weekend and helped
her with the
arrangements for
the Winter. She
and Annika has
made an extra
isolation on the
floor in her
in-glassed terrace
for all her
plants. It's now
like sitting in a
jungle! Lemons,
figs, fuchsia,
camelia,
guava, pelargonium,
bougainvillea and
a lot more are now
ready for the
first frost... You're
welcome to take a
look here at Åsa's
Green Garden!
The weather has
been so lovely all
weekend. We
spent the whole
Sunday in the Forest
with all the
lovely Autumn
colours. And of
course the forests
own little gold -
chanterelles! »
In the
end we got a whole paper
bag full! Do you see
my little "rucksack"
- so I can carry
my own picnic, hi
hi!
|
|
September 25th:
Finally Annika's got
some time to fix our
own website with a new
Autumn design!
September 23rd
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Gibson's 1st litter is 4 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!
|
September 18-19th:
We had a crayfish-party
at Uncle Alf on
Saturday. It's always
nice to visit him and
we know exactly where
he keeps our treats. On
Sunday we went down to
our own little beach.
It was a sunny windy
day. But when you get
sheltered from the wind
it's quite nice to see
the waves crashing upon
the rocks.
September 11th
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Timmy's litter is 2 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!
|
September 10th:
On an ordinary long walk in the
countryside we found another way to walk
in a field, surrounded by a
wide ditch. Now
this time Timmy got an
idea of jumping over it
and on the other side
he desided not to go
back... and Annika
didn't feel like
swimming over. So
he had to sit there an
wait for us to go
arround the field again,
leaving a sad howling
Timmy by the bushes...
But the reunion is so
happy when we all get
together - on the right
side!
On
another day it almost
got to much for
Gibson... I mean, we
weren't prepered for
this and thought it
should be an ordinary
walk in the countryside.
But now when you think
about it - the ground
was perfect for the
occasion... We met the
first pheasent and
Gibson was steady...
but allready after 5
minutes he thrust some
more and... then he
lost his brain an
thought it was party
time!
It's a fact - we need
to take out the field
training from the
closet... hm!
August 21-22nd:
But Mum, now we're at the wrong place
again, this is a CAT show! But she had
promised to show cats for the Judges and you're
having a nice time so. And Grandma's white
S*Auric's
Felicia
got her CACE and is going for the highest
title European
Champion!
The Summer has it's disadvantages...
First - a lot of our fields are
occupied by horses, cows or even sheep!
And second - you're not allowed to hunt
The Funny Birds... but now you are, 1st of
September!
Nothing to mention really... but we
visited the Cocker Show down below some
weeks ago. Gibson was shown for Mr. Patric Ragnarsson
and got a nice critic but was to matcho for
his taste. But we surely defended our
trophy by winning Best
Working dog!
As BEST IN SHOW-Gundogs... my clever
dual purpose Gibson only won a 6-pack
of coconut sweets.........!!!
VACATION
- HOLIDAY!
After a really long journey by train we
finally met a lot of blue cockers and even
two reds! Yepp, we've had a lovely
week up in the North at Häljans
kennel, enjoying the good life!
Playing with our friends and going
for nice
long walks in the countryside. On Sunday Gibson was shown for
Mr. Kenneth Edh again; nice critic with
CC-quality, Best
Working dog
and ending
up as 6th Best Dog... sigh!
Kicki & her Kuvasz has been here for a nice visit.
Big congratulations to Orphie's
Prodegy group ending up as BIS
last weekend!
July
5th:
A visit to Maja & Noa for a
trimming today. Gibson's daughter Noa is
making officiell showdebut next weekend
and it's so exciting. This SKK show is
only 10 min drive from our home, great! *
* * We've had a lovely Midsommer with
strawberries and nice long walks to the
beach. We only hope the sunny weather will
come soon... for our vacation!
June
18-20th:
This weekend we've visited Wayne
& Co and had a fun time with some
wine and cream-filled meringue-shells,
pictures coming soon! And we took a trip
to SKK Avesta where Gibson was shown for
Mr. Kenneth Edh. A nice critic with
CC-quality, Best
Working dog
and ending
up as 6th Best Dog...

We have really
enjoyed this

offspring with him, all at show
debute.
First out were Skrållan
and Saga in puppy
class I with the
results 2nd HP
and 3rd HP. Next out was Lukas in
junior class, a promising critic but a bit
shy so no place...
Gundog Class winner
was daddy Gibson
with a nice critic
and ending up as 4th Best Dog and
also BEST IN
SHOW-Gundogs! The
veteran
Timmy got 3rd place
with HP. Time for Noa in junior
class, 3rd with HP and ending up as
Reserv
Best Bitch! The
most proudful
moment was to
present Gibsons
offspring in
Prodegy class
which ended up as BEST IN
SHOW! »
Over the weekend
we've also had the
whole house full
of kennel Fancy
Paws cockers! Both in
Hässleholm and Stenungsund
