* * * HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! * * *
December 22nd:
We would like to thank you all for the lovely Christmas
Greetings! Now we have to finish our packing... we're going to move
to a bigger house down the road, together with my boyfriend! From all of
us - to all of you A Merry Christmas!
December 16th:
We have a TV-star! At first I didn't understand what little Dallas was
muttering about? We were just watching TV? But then I followed his eyes
and yes indeed - he's watching the dogs on Animal Planet! He growls a
little bit and sometimes even goes forwards to the TV and really watch.
He also growls at lions and animals like that and now even at elephants!
Well, little Dallas boy, I'm sure you'll only see elephants on TV, ha
ha!
December 9th:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Gibson's 4th litter is 2 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!
|
December 8th:
They are so sweet, my little
darlings!
Dallas has fluched his
first pheasants,
spontaneously! As usually I wasn't preperd for live bird
training this day... even if I do have trained
gundogs. Gibson and Dallas runs out to an
enclosed pasture-land with some nettle thickets...
perfect hiding for pheasants... And of course
there are some and two of them flies up and away.
- Look, what a good boy I am! - Wow, here
comes two more! My stop signal with the
whistle was respected and both boys runs back to
me and we continue our long walk. - Did you
see mum, what I found! Once
again my warmest thanks for all the lovely
congratulations to my precious Gibson, I'm
touched to tears...
November 27th: Hurrah
for Mr. Kim Bay!
I think I almost fainted of pride! I was
lucky that my dear friend caught me in the ring
by her warm hug... let me explain... We
booked a train ticket from Varberg - Umeå, a
nice little trip of 16 hours and God knows how
many miles... sometimes you just have to be a
little bit crazy ;-) We wanted to try our wings
at SSRK's show in the North of Sweden... and the
judge of our attention was Mr. Kim Bay, DK. My
sweet Gibson wins
Best Veteran and
gets his CC-quality with an
excellent critic: "8
years old still
going strong, excellent
type and general impression, correct size,
very nice head,
lovely expression,
correct mouth with sound
white teeth, very good neck
and shoulders, very nice
topline,
good
spring of rib, lovely coat with correct
structure, correct tan markings, moved very
well from all sides,
stylish general
impression!" In
Best Dogs line up we surely showed off and my
precious gains 2nd Best Dog with the
coveted eagerly awaited first certificate!!! CAC!!!
He also becomes BOB-Veteran and Best Working dog! My dear company Britta with
her bitches Travis Ace
Of Base and SHCH Travis Hold On To Your
Dream also wins their
classes. So in Best Bitch I had the
pleasure to show her
champion to 2nd Best Bitch and Britta gains 3rd
place with her open class bitch, who was so
close to her champion title, §#¤%&! But
warm congratulations to kennel Frostwork's with
CC, BOB and BOS! How did Gibson do in the finals?
Among 7 qualified retrievers and spaniels he wins Reserv BIS-Gundogs for
judge Mrs. Anne Liland and our dear judge Mr. Kim Bay
honours him among 9 veterans with BIS-2!
An elegant picture of our ribbon
collection can be seen at photo
album
#winning pictures! We spent the cheerful
night by train going home... with a big happy
smile on my face! Thanks for all the warm
greetings by the ringside, telephone, mail
and guestbook! My deepest THANKS to Mrs. Britta Dafgård
for your always lovely company and for being
just you! A huge KISS to my darling with my boys at
home! And a special
HUG to Mr. Bay of course!
November 24th:
Well, we don't have any snow here yet but I
made a winter design anyway. The boys are like
children... Dallas is so happy as the oldies
finally plays with him! Could it be because
they're accepting the little rascal or 'cause
he's becoming a real male? Ether way they're
having a lot of fun together!November
13th:
SSRK show in Scania for Mr. Laurent Pichard.
Little darling Dallas made his entry in the ring
for the second time with such a drive! Puppy judge Mrs. Moa Persson gave the
critic: "8
month old of excellent type and general
impression, a pale membrane interrupts the nice
expression, dark nice eyes, lovely occi, a bit
straight in shoulders, short cobby body, nice
angulations, uses his tail very
nice!"
Dallas gains 2nd Best Puppy! Then time
for Gibson in veteran
class: "Very attractive 8 years old
black/tan, shown in beautiful
condition, correct head, scissors
bite, clean neck &
shoulders,
excellent ribcage, a little long in loin, strong
hindquarters, slightly low
tailset, very nice
temper, excellent mover." With this
critic Gibson gets CC-quality and wins Best Veteran! In the dogs final it was a
tough competition so no placement. But we are very proud to congratulate
Dallas' dad Shakima's Mambo to CC & BOS!
Congratulations also to his grandfather MultiCh
Corralet Tango on winning Best prodigy group in
show! Finally Gibson also won Zvenskbrickan's
Challenge Cup again as Best Working dog! We
have a very sweet picture of Dallas and his
father Axel which can be seen at the front page
;-) November 9th:
I've just got to get me a digital camera! You do
want to share your sweethearts on a picture.
Especially a little Dallasboy, full of joy and
so eager to please! If just dogs could talk... -
I CAN carry myself, I can! Please Gibson, let
me have your red dummy? Wow, a rabbit dummy!
Gosh, so exciting! I want it! I want it!
November
7th:
On this special day the
first Saturday of
November, here in
Sweden we celebrate All
Saints' Day. It's when
you give an extra
thought to your loved
ones who no longer are
with you here on Earth.
The whole family went
to the Pet Cemetery to
visit our old dear
friend Tigge,
the cat that left us
for heaven 3 years ago.
We lighted a candle at
his grave and thought
about him. Later on in
the evening Halloween
is also celebrated on
the same day. A bit
strange but... we
hereby wish you a HAPPY
HALLOWEEN! We had a
tricky treaty night!
Great
news! Gibson
offspring eyetested and
hip scored
clear: Bergkällans
Yamaha Virago &
Bergkällans Suzuki
Intruder!
November 4th:
First of all we would like to thank you all
for the warm congratulations about Gibson's
birthday and to our new little BLUE boy Dallas!
It's nice to be in the "blue club"! *smile*
And then I would like to tell you about
yesterday and our "birthday party" in
the fields.
Gibson understod immediately what was going on
when I packed the bag with those special things.
Unfortunately it rained in the morning so all
the pheasants were laying somewhere else. So we
had no live experience. But what does it matter
when you can fetch anyway?! First I sent Gibson
for a search of a pigeon I
had left there before our practise. He
was then allowed to carry it around as I
introduced little Dallas to a birds wing... no
problem at all! And he retrieved is perfectly!
Gooood dog!!! Then he discovered that Gibson had
a bigger and more interesting bird... but oh
no... you know Gibson would never give away a
real bird. So back in the bag with the birds.
After a while Gibson fetched a new pigeon and carried it along as we walked
around in the fields. Suddenly Dallas turns
around with a spontaneous reaction and finds a seagull
I placed there before our practise. What a
boy! What a natural talent! You understand that
of course I cheered him up with my most foolish
sweetest voice to really encourage and reward
him :-) The seagull was a bit to heavy for a
halfgrown cocker puppy so he left it and ran
back to me, happier than ever! So big daddy
Gibson had to retrieve it proudly of course. But
now the pigeon was available and Dallas just
loved it! Do you wonder what dear old Timmy did
in the mean time? Well, unfortuanely he is not
interested to fetch birds at all, so he just
likes to ramble around. When we went back to my
bike and the carriage we were all satisfied -
first comes Gibson with his big seagull, then
happy Timmy and myself, then right behind me
little Dallas - the most happiest with his
pigeon!
November
3rd:
HAPPY
BIRTHDAY GIBSON!!!
Our precious Gibson is 8 years
old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!
|
|
November 3rd:
We have some thawed birds in our little store waiting for
the traditional birthday activity, guess if we'll have fun today! It's gonna
be interesting to see Dallas meet a bird for the first time. He retrieves the
ball and dummy quite well already.
Gibson
has a new picture at his
page and some winning pictures in the photo album.
Oktober 28-30th:
Back to Shakima's
kennel for a nice
weekend again. On
Saturday it was show
for Mr. Karl-Erik
Johansson and Gibson
was shown in veteran
class with this critic:
"Ex. type and
impression, lovely head,
dark eye, well filled
nose, lovely
expression, nice teeth, good
neck,
prefer topline more
straight,
good
spring of rib, excellent
angulations, moved very
well, nice coat, in very good
condition, sweet and
gentle." He
got a tough competition
among champion veterans
and got the reserv
place with prize of
honour.
He was the best in
working class and won BOB-Gundog.
In the finals he gained
BIS-2!
The big bang of the day
was really what I had
in my arms?!
We proudly present our
new little member
- a very nice surprice!!!
Thanks my dear
Ann-Catrine for DALLAS!!!
|
We here by change our name
to The Beach
Boys!
|
Oktober 23rd:
A nice and sunny
day in the forest. We
had a picnic and found
almost a whole paperbag
of chanterelles. A
fresh baked apple pay
with vanilla cream
tasted delicious at
mother's place in the
afternoon.
On Saturday the
Kennel Club of our
county had an open
show. Two of Gibson's
girls were shown in
puppy class. Ebba (Cockerqueen's
Snow
White) gained BOB-2 and
Tindra (Cockerqueen's
Tinkerbell) gained the
4th place.
Congratulations to
Occis Sugarbabe with
BOB-puppy!
Oktober 14-16th:
We are a bit jealous of Faldo & Co who was looking at a field trial
last weekend. But I had to go with my mum for a CAT show instead...
Sweet mister was dogsitter at home so we went to Norway with her white
persian S*Auric's
Felicia. Next time she's going to have her last CAC and the biggest
title - European Champion = champagne!
Well, it's the season with big F as in FUN! Even if we're not
starting at field trials this year, we have a lot of fun here at home. 'Cause we
have pheasants and partridge almost around the corner. And now and then
we're out for a practice and having the best time!
Last weekend we were at my mother's and helped her with the
arrangements for the Winter. She has a new isolated floor in her
in-glassed terrace. It's like sitting in a jungle now! Lemons, figs,
fuchsia, camelia, guava, pelargonium, bougainvillea and a lot more are
now ready for the first frost... You're welcome to take a look here at Åsa's
Green Garden.
September
23rd:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Gibson's 1st litter is 5 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!
|
September 22nd:
Well, the phrase says an
accident strikes twice...
This time Gibson was bitten by a Springer
Spaniel. They have
met a few times before
but this time they
didn't agree in some way...
Fortunatelly it was only
a tiny bite in the ear.
The veterinary
gave him a shot of
antibiotics and then he
was free to go home,
thank God! The Summer is
almost over and we can
enjoy the huge grazing
lands again that now are
free from horses. Some
lovely pictures can be
seen in photoalbum
#19.
September 12th:
The weather has
been so lovely all
weekend. We
spent the whole
Sunday in the forest
and found some
chanterelles, just
enough for some varm
sandwishes, yummy! But
it started a bit scary...
Gibson ran into a wasp's
nest in the ground! We
almost got terrified 'cause
he was full all over by
the little devils!
Normally a sting swell
within 20 minutes but
threw the mobile phone
the veterinary gently
calmed me and said my
Gibson wasn't allergic
to wasp/bee stick as he
didnt' swull up. Thank God!
September 11th
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Timmy's litter is 3 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

September
4th:
My mothers Persian S*Auric's Star Night was Nominated again this weekend
and won
BIS Junior! He won BIS for the 5th time so he is hereby JUNIOR WINNER!!!
Congratulations dear
mother!
September
1st:
Finally my foot is good
enough so I could do
a tracking with my boys!
And they surely enjoyed
it! So now they're
satisfied and sleeps on
the sofa the rest of the
evening :-)
August
19-22nd:
We've had a lovely
vacation to The
East County
visiting our old
dear friends at
Shakima's kennel.
It was so nice to
see you again and
we had such a
pleasant time!
Some Bar-B-Q on
Friday night and
on Saturday we
where invited to
The Open Cocker
Show for Mrs. Sue
Warrington.
Unfortunately she
didn't like Gibson
but we had a nice
sunny day with our
friends. On Sunday
we took a dip in
the ocean and some
lunch in Stegeborg.
A weekend is
always to short so
then it was time
to say goodbye...
Thanks my sweet
Ann-Catrine for
EVERYTHING!

August
13th:
OFFSPRING MEETING! Today
we've had a lovely
meeting with our puppies
from Cockerqueen's
kennel, together with
daddy Gibson and
playmate Timmy. We
had a really jolly day
with lots of fun in the
garden, some grooming
and showtraining. A nice
cup of coffee and
sandwishes during the
brake and then the
puppies tryed some
tracking with a sausage,
great! Daddy Gibson
showed some field search
and retrieving. The
lovely day finished with
a cocker race. Thanks to
Tindra & Skrållan's
family for your
hospitality and to
Anneli at Cockerqueen's
for your generousity!
Some pics can be seen at
photoalbum
#19 but most of
them at Cockerqueen's
kennel in "Bildgalleriet -
Valpträff 2005".
Hugs to all the other
puppies who couldn't
join!
July
30th:
Gosh, today we certainly
know the name Leelekis
Acanthus!
South West Cocker Club
had a rainy but very
nice show with Mr. Kim
Bay as the judge. Gibson
takes 1st place and wins
Best Veteran with an
excellent critic: "8
years old veteran still
going strong. Very
sound, correct size,
very nice head with
lovely expression,
correct mouth with nice
teeth, very good neck
and shoulders, very good
topline, compact body,
good
spring of rib, very nice
coat with correct
structure, correct tan
markings, lovely
temperament, nice
hard body, moved very
well from all sides,
stylish general
impression!"
And with this he gains 3rd
Best Dog! Then it
was time to show all the
qualified dogs and Gibs
takes it all -
Best Tan, Best Tracking
& Best Gundog!
After lunch I had the
pleasure to show our
tent company Travis Ace
Of Base to 3rd Best
Bitch and watch SHCH
Travis Hold On To Your
Dream to Best Bitch and
BIS! Huge
congratulations Britta!
In the finals against
the qualified bitches
the winner takes it all
- my precious Gibson! BIS-Veteran
with Zazza's Challenge
Cup, BIS-Tan with
Sir James' Challenge Cup,
BIS-Tracking with
kennel Örliden's
Challenge Cup and
finally BIS-Field
Trial with
Lukaskannan's Challenge
Cup (for the 3rd year in
a row)!
So we got a strong
exercise with muddy
clothes and my bad foot
showed it's hand
- but
what a day! 4 x BIS!
Thanks for
all the warm
congratulations and the
nice company!
July
14-17th:
Babysitting Gibson's
girls Cockerqueen's Celebrian
& Cockerqueen's
Tinkerbell alias
Skrållan & Tindra.
The weekend

understand
been extra
fun/funny
What a joy
to know and
see the
family
taking so
good care of
our "babies".
See some
family

This weekend
our little
town also
were invaded
by
Wheels &
Wings. This is a big
show every
year with
old cars,
motorcycles
and
aeroplanes,
so we had
some nice
days with
picnics and
Bar-B-Q,
druling over
georgeos
cars...
Next
Saturday
it's time to
babysit
another of
our babies,
Classe
(Bergkällans
Kawasaki
Classic) |

July 9-10th:
Saturday; SKK
international dog
show in Tvååker,
a nice bicycle
trip of 15 km. So Gibson
glide in on the
ringside in his
bicycle cart - so cool! ;o)
Mister was a bit
to masculine for Judge
Mrs. Myra
Thomas-Rhodes but got
an honourbul
2nd Best Veteran
with the critic:
"Very lovely sound
quality dog. Well boned
& bodied. Super
disposition. Moved very
well". Then it was
time for two of
Gibson's offspring
to debute
officially, in
Youngsters class
with 7 entries.
Noella
(Bergkällans
Yamaha Virago) got
just a 1st price.
I got the hard
pleasure to show mummy
Cockerqueen's
Celebrian which
was not an easy
thing to do... but
gosh she must have
charmed the judge
'cause she took
the 3rd place with
CC-quality!
Go girl! Mean
time baby sister Tindra
(Cockerqueen's
Tinkerbell) had a
kissing party with
daddy!
Sunday; Well
well, to masculine
today too for
Judge Mrs. Frances
Hickey but today Gibson
won 1st place as Best
Veteran
with the critic: "Typical dog.
Well shaped head
and good ears.
Good neck and
shoulders.
Balanced body.
Good spring of rib.
Well angulated.
Standing a bit
slack in pastern
today. Moved
soundly". An
old friend by the
nickname "Bumblebee"
won over him in
the finals so he
got BOS-Veteran,
congrats!. The
weather was on top
all weekend but
perhaps a bit too
hot, so sitting in
the shade of a
tree with nice
friends is perfect,
thanks! Our
"Greek God litter" #7
has moved to their
new homes and we
wish them the very
best!
Unfortunately the
camera was on
strike so there is
no pictures...
June
17-20th: LONDON!!!
We've been on our
trip to London
over the weekend!
It was planed to
Easter but I broke
my foot you know...
But finally we're
here in this
lovely city. We
stayed at a
charming hotel in Kensington.
The weather was
very nice, perhaps
a bit too nice
with 33 degrees
Celsius!
Arrived Friday afternoon
and started with a
couple of cold
nice pints at the
nearest pub.
Strolling around
town and had a
good meal in the
evening. On
Saturday we had a
nice and lovely
walk in Hyde Park,
shopping
and more strolling
in the nice
weather. The
evening ended with
a romantic dinner
á la Lady &
The Tramp... As
typical turists we
took the red
sightseeing bus on
Sunday including; Trafalgar
Square, Picadilly
Circus, Tower Bridge,
London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham
Palace,
Harrod's etc. incl.
boat ride on The
Thames. After yet
another hot day it
was time for a
couple of cold
pints and a nice
dinner.
Unfortunately a
fun weekend ends
to soon so on
Monday it was time
to fly back to
sunny Sweden. I
will soon make a
homepage from our
London trip, the
camera was bisy!
Thanks honey for a
fantastic vacation! Congratulations
to Gibson's lad Zorro
(Tullebyns Double
O´seven) with 4th
place open class
among 11 at Jönköpings
Cocker club's Open
Show for Mr. Jostein
Halvorsen.

weekend, fun with a lot
of "strange"
happy camping people,
over 20.000. New
pics of the puppies #7.
May 31st:
Now we've been at
Bergkällan's kennel,
visiting Ebba &
Gibson's puppies, 3
weeks old! Se more at puppies #7 Can
tell you that we
enjoyed Beethoven's
Number 9 at Gothenburgs
Concert Hall on Friday!
And on Sunday it was
The Elité Race 2005 at
Stockholm's
trotting-course,
Solvalla! Our favourite "Gidde
Palema" won
The Olympia Race in
April but this time he
was beaten... he is
still the best!
May
22nd:
A bit sore in
my foot today...
ouch! but we had a
nice show day for
Mrs. Jackie
Marris-Bray, despite
the rainy weather. Gibson
met 5 of his
offspring today. First
out was Classe
(Bergkällans Kawasaki
Classic) with 6th place
in Youngsters
class. His sibling
Noella
(Bergkällans Yamaha
Virago) was not
placed but the
siblings Skrållan
and Saga (Cockerqueen's
Celebrian and Arwen)
came 4th and 5th in
this big Youngsters
class.
Unfortunately Tova
(Cockerqueen's
Eowyn) was limping
at the moment...
What about daddy
Gibson? "Certanly
has a spring in his
step. Very nice type.
Good bone & feet.
Good shoulders. Very
good condition. Good
hard body. Would
certanly last all day."
Yes, he won both
his classes and
later on BIS-R
Veteran
and BIS-Gundog!
It was a tough
best dog class so
no place there.
Thanks to our
friends and The
West Cocker Club
for a pleasent day
with nice prices.
Due to the weather
we canceled our
Progeny group.
Full results at The
West Cocker Club.

body, perhaps a bit narrow in hocks? Really nice to see such a beautiful and well
presented veteran, moves really beautiful all around with a lovely happy
cocker tail and excellent temperament". So Gibs got CC-quality

We understand if you
think we're lost in
cyberspace... but there
has been a major storm
here in South of Sweden
that made some disaster
