* * * HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! * * *

December 27th:
New nice Christmas Greetings!!! We hope you had a very pleasent holiday. We had a very nice one! Today we choose the long walk in the woods with picnic in the sun instead of the sales in town. It's so calm and cosy in the forest, even with no snow as it should be this time of year... but in the North of Norway they sure have a lot of snow, take a look at greetings from Gibson's son Miko (Apache)

December 23rd:
New nice Christmas Greetings!!! Gibson's got some lovely greetings from his Indian daughters Cherokee and Shoshone. See the pictures in their gallery. Yesterday we took a nice walk at the lighthouse among rocks and heather while the waves were beating on the shore. Found a place in the lee of the wind where we drank our hot mulled and spiced wine. Today we put the final touch around the preparations for Christmas and the boys will have their Christmas bath. From all of us to all of you - Merry Christmas!!!

December 20th:
Today I took the bike and carriage with the boys to the sheep enclosed pasture and took a long nice walk in the sun! Some pictures can be seen in photo album #29. Thank you all for your nice Christmas Greetings!!!

December 17th:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING!

WE LOVE YOU!!!

December 15th:
Gibson's got a greeting from his daughter Wilma (Cheyenne). She has a website of her own but it's nice to have some pictures in their puppy gallery, see here!

December 12th:
Now my darling Clas spoiled me again! This Saturday we had an amazing Christmas dinner with friends at the restaurant Maja's By the Sea. They have a very special Christmas dinner with a little different menu. It's only one dinner per night between 19 - 24 PM so you have lots of time to enjoy the meals. The meals are devided in three themes; Sea - Land - Heaven. First there is sea food from the delicacy of the ocean. Then it's a pause for 20 min. Then comes the dainty of the Land with juniper smoked ham and honey glazed ribs for exaple. After another pause the Heaven is served. No simple gingerbread biscuits here. Now we're enjoying chocolate mousse, crème caramel and chocolate truffle! This is really something for us gourmets!

Gibson's son Izor (Bergkällans Harley Davidson) is at day care in Stockholm and now TV4 has been there and made a program about how dogs celebrate Lucia. Izor was a cute gingerbread dog and showed the christmas gift of the year! It's on Swedish TV tomorrow morning at 07:15. Have a lovely Lucia!

December 9th:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 4th litter is 3 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

December 3rd:
What a darling! Nikki (Pipaluk's Payback) almost 5 month old, entered a puppy show for the first time today. And made his daddy Gibson so proud! Among nine puppies from 4 to 12 month he took Best Dog! In the final the 10 month old bitch won and Nikki gained BOS! Congratulations, way to go Åsa! Thanks for a nice day and for taking such good care of our little treasure!

In the afternoon we went to my parents in law and later on my mother was here for a Sunday dinner.

We wish you a nice 1st Advent!

December 1st:
What a rascal! Is old Timmy starting to hear bad or is he just not listening (as usual)? At the way home from our daily long walk he just happily disappeared somewhere... And as usual he just hears when he wants to, so it was no use wissle or call. I just had to look around for him. But from experience I walked home with the other boys and wasn't I right. There he is, with his wagging tail barking at the gate to open - Hi, I'm home now! And then he is so happy to see us, wondering where we went? Well, this is not accepted but it's good to know he finds his way home, hm... We have some new pictures in photo album #28 from an ordinary day.

November 26th:
Gibson's son Nikki (Pipaluk's Maverick). has been here for a grooming. What a gorgeous lovely lad he is! Look here » On Saturday evening we went to Gothenburgs new cinema and the new James Bond film "Casino Royale" = recommendable!

November 19th: Year of our county Halland!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Ulf Westlund with Whaupley Cappuccino who won both Spaniel Derby, Cocker Championship & Spaniel Championship 2006! and to Mrs. Brita Dafgård with Ch Travis Hold On To Your Dream who became World Winner 2006 at the WW-show!

November 14th:
Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather again! His daughter Bergkällans Yamaha Virago gave birth to a lovely litter. Hugs & kisses to you, Noella!

November 11th:
It's a tradition to visit Scania and SSRK's show in Åstorp. This year I had the company of my friend Anneli at Cockerqueen's kennel. We also met Gibson's daughter Bella (Bergkällans Suzuki Intruder). Judge of the day was the very sweet Mrs. Ali Benuick-Smies from The Netherlands with over 70 entries. But it didn't start so well... Among 8 youngsters she gave 2nd quality to 5 and Dallas was one of them. He will now lay back a while and hopefully grow a bit here and there... Veteran Gibson was the last one of the males among 31 dog entries and he did a very good impression: "I want to congratulate the lady for letting me see this beautiful dog, over 9 years old in such a good condition, lovely type & size, good head & expression & mouth, strong deep body, well angulated both sides, good bone & feet, moved without any problems with firm topline." With this lovely critic he got CC-quality and became Best Veteran! The judge pointed out her favorites for best dog and my joy and pride Mr. Gibson included. He gained 5th Best dog! His daughter got 1st in quality but was not placed among a huge open class bitches. Better luck next time, Bella! Without any doubts against well knowed Doris the sweet judge made my Gibson BOB-Veteran! "Oh, it was no surprise! Congratulations, you have such a charming old dog!" THANKS!!! It was just a shame that she didn't judge the BIS-finals. But congratulations to Peppe as BOB and BIS-3 and Dallas' grandfather Tango as BIS-progeny!

November 8th:
Gibson's got a sweet greeting from his new son Nikki ( Pipaluk's Maverick). Nikki likes the snow and owner Åsa got some pictures of him, see here » He's coming over for a grooming soon as he's going for his first show soon.

November 5th:
This Sunday my mother came along as company to SKK Int. show at Växjö for the kind judge Mrs. Magdalena Karlsson. Well, I suppose a scrimpsallad is a bit fat (haven't checked the fat content) and Dallas got a 2nd in quality... but he was still as happy as a bird carrying his critic out of the ring. Mister Gibson was shown in hunting class today, still showing he's a qualified gundog! He got his CC-quality with a lovely critic: "Masculine very beautiful head, lovely expression, very lovely neck, nice forechest, well developed ribcage, excellent proportions, well angulated, loses his loin in movement but moves with very good drive, 9 years old in a fantastic condition!" It was extra fun when the judge asked about his age and later even asked the ringsecretary who approved his date of birth. Yes, Gibson was a really nice and happy veteran still going so strong and she congratulated us for his achievement as a gundog! Only 10 males gained cc-quality but he was unfortunately not placed in best dog.

November 3rd:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIBSON
!!!

Our precious Gibson is 9 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Gibson had a fun day searching for pheasants today! We only found two rabbits but he enjoyed every minute! In the afternoon it was ice cream on the menu as usual on a birthday.

November 1st:
Look outside, it's snowing!
Yesterday we went to Gibson's daughter Bella (Bergkällans Suzuki Intruder). She had a puppy-meeting with grooming and show practise. Some of her puppies will be entering the show ground so it was a lot to learn. We needed a big portion of patient and treat! We've got a photo from our grooming of Bella's brother Classe (Bergkällans Kawasaki Classic), see their gallery here »

Finally, finally, finally Dallas has started his obedience course at our Working Dog Club! We have been waiting since Spring so they had to make an extra course this Autumn. This first Monday was an introduktion, some theory and fun play.

October 27th:
Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather again! His daughter Cockerqueen's Celebrian gave birth to a lovely litter. Hugs & kisses to you, Skrållan!

October 22nd:
Today it was time for an open show in our district by Halland Kennel Club among 30 entries. Dallas were showing off by winning youngsters class! Gibson won Best Veteran and now I suddenly had two boys in Best Dog. Dallas pleased me by winning 4th Best Dog! and Gibson 5th Best Dog! Thanks Taddy for handling Dallas so professionally! Gibson's daughter Ebba, Cockerqueen's Snow White, came 3rd in open class. Gibson also gained BOB-Veteran and in the finals an honourable 6th place as BIS-Veteran!

October 14-15th:
We've had the most fabulous weekend in Gothenburg! My darling has really spolied me with a package of luxury! VIP-suite at a hotel, wearing the fancy dress and having a gourmetic dinner at the romantic Restaurant Källarkrogen. And then the hilight of the day - the world famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli! We've been looking forward to this concert since May when the tickets were released. What can I say, the concert was magnificent! Magnifico! After this amazing experience we finished the great evening at The Casino Cosmopol. THANK YOU my darling!!! And thanks to mum for taking care of our three boys!

October 7th:
Today it was I who made a water test! We went to a nice field trial, just as spectators. The weather was sometimes rainy and sometimes sunny with a good breeze. I have to mention an incident... We had to cross over a big deep ravine filled with water. I thought I followed the person in front of me but clumsy as I am I stepped a bit outside the tuft of grass and tested the depth of the water by 1 meter! Well well, the sun was shining so I'd dry. But after a while we all had to cross the same ravine again and guess what? Oh yes, the same procedure happened again! How big is the probability that the same person does this mistake twice???!!! By that time I was soaking wet and they stopped for lunch anyway, so we went home instead. I can assure you that a warm bath was most welcome!

Timmy's eye became better after just one day and is now fully healed. We have some new pictures in photo album #28. I have also changed the meny and added about our family. Gibson has a new lovely head picture on his page.

October 2nd:
Poor Timmy has had an inflamed eye and the eyedrops hasn't helped... and now the eye had started to swull so we took a visit to the Vet immediately. We have only 10 minutes walk to the clinic. The Vet gave the eye some anaesthetic, examined it very carefully and tested a lot of things. She thought Timmy was a very kind and patient dog. Finally in the corner under the third eyelid she found a tiny seed enclosed among the eye tissue! So Timmy got a halfsleeping shot and the seed was removed by a pair of tweezers. Afterwards old Timmy was a very old and tired man and the walk home took 20 minutes. I layed him on the sofa and there he slept all afternoon. Then a quick visit to the pharmacist for the special eyedrops he will have for 7 days. So a big rock fell from my shoulders! Of course I had feared the worst and thought Timmy would be a one-eyed pirat... so now I gladly payed nearly 1.000SEK for a darn seed!

September 27th:
What a wonderful world... Taking the dogs for a ride in the bicycle-carriage. Have a cup of coffee on a huge meadow. Lay down and look at the blue sky. Watch the tiny clowds pass on and just enjoy... That's relaxing on the highest level... Look at photos of one day on the meadows here in photo album #27.

September 23rd:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 1st litter is 6 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

September 20th: YES!!!
Third time's a charm! Dallas started at the Water Test for judge Mr. Willy Gustafsson today. This time we let him take a swim before we came to the test and it payed off! He hesitated at first... "Well, fetch the duck to mummy now!" sad the judge! And like a miracle Dallas desided to do just that! And mummy was so pleased! A big hug to Willy for not letting our hopes fade. Dallas has here by an Approved Water Test and ticket to the field trials! Thanks to Anneli for a hasty decision of coming with us with no one other than Gibson's daughter Saga! Well, she loves to swim so we kept our fingers crossed... but even if she has the love of water she didn't manage the retrieving. But "grandma Annika" thinks she has potential, that lass!

September 18th:
Last Wednesday it was time again for Dallas to start at the Water Test but he didn't make it this time either... he stands in the water and wants to retrieve but he doesn't dare the whole way out. So judge Mr. Willy Gustafsson, took the time to throw a small stone out in the water near the bird, to encourage Dallas to fetch it to me, even if he wasn't approved. And then he did it almost perfectly! So... better luck next time!

On Saturday I got thrown out of my house... no no, not as bad as it sounds! My partner Clas had a gentleman's dinner so I kindly went to my mother's all evening. We went to our little beach with picnic and the dogs took a swim in the ocean. The whole sea of tiny chanterelles from last week had sadly dried out :-( But we found some yellow one's and what is more delicious than butterfried chanterelles on a warm sandwich!

We've got a sweet greeting from Gibson's daughter Elsa (Cherokee). She's got a site with photos here!

September 12th:
Gibson's son Miko (Apache) has got a site with photos and sister Wilma (Cheyenne) has been on her first dog show and gained BOB-baby and even BIG-3, congratulations Lisa! New photos of the Mel Gibson-puppies with their familys, see litter 9, best of luck!

September 11th
CONGRATULATIONS
!!!

Timmy's litter is 4 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

September 10th:
Gibson's daughter Bella (Bergkällans Suzuki Intruder) was shown at SKK Sofiero today among a huge entry of open class bitches for judge Mrs. Helle Dan Pålsson. Bella got 1st prize with the critic: "excellent 2,5 years old, a bit big but harmonic, feminin head, slighty wide scull, nice expression, good teeth, excellent neck and shoulders, prefer more forechest, well bodied but a liittle bit heavy today (fat), well angulated, moves well, lovely tail activity and typical, nice coat condition, lovely temperament, needs some more ring practice to show all her qualities" Well done, Bella & Marita!

Today we've been in the forest again, looking for chanterelles. But they're to small yet so we only took the biggest for a warm sandwich in the evening. You should see master's look on his face when he discovered a whole sea of tiny chanterelles, hiding under the spruce forest. We'll have to wait some weeks and letting them grow a bit more.

September 6th:
Pictures of our Mel Gibson-puppies 8 weeks old and gorgeous, see litter 9!

September 2-4th:
Is it Friday or Saturday? Zzzz... Up in the early morning at 3.30 AM crossing the other side of Sweden. Meeting the sunrise in Kalmar and iceland of Öland to SKK's dog show for Mrs. Ann-Christin Johansson for the first time. Gibson got only an honours prize and Best Veteran, ending up as BOS Veteran. So we packed our thing and drove to Pia at Pipaluk's kennel and Gibson's latest offspring, now 8 weeks old and ready to leave their nest. Oh, those adorable sweet and georgeous puppies... Thank you Pia for being such a doll!

The day after at Sunday we had the dearest reunion! My little darling blue - Dallas! Ann-Catrine at kennel Shakima's and Lena at kennel Sätra's came to Pipaluk's with him and he almost crawled out of his scin of joy to see us again *smile* After a nice lunch we took a lot of photos of the pups of course and later on it was time to say goodbye... But my baby blue is back home! Thank you so much Ann-Catrine for taking such good care of my baby! Now the pack is solid, Dallas is home to his loving sceeking toys!

August 31st:
Finally the breeder got some assistance taking picture of our Mel Gibson-puppies, now 7 weeks - see litter 9! We're gonna visit them soon! And soon my little blue darling is back home!!!

August 27th:
Wow, sometimes we make it *smile* Sunday started rather early at 4:30 AM making picnic, doing the final touch on Gibson and heading for the show at SSRK Tånga Hed. Judge for the day were allrounder Mr. Nils Molin who liked my veteran and made him Best Veteran with CC-quality. This time Gibson took a nice 4th Best Dog and also BOB-Veteran! In the finals he showed his dummy among only retrievers in BIS Gundogs and gained BIS-3! He also got a huge prize bow as BIS-3 Veteran! Some photos can be seen in photo album #26

My beloved little Dallas was shown at SSRK Södertälje for Mr.  Adam Murray and gained 3rd place with honours prize among a big youngsters class. Daddy took 2nd place with CC-quality in open class. Thank you so much Ann-Cathrine for taking care of my baby! See you soon!

Check out the huge prize bow! »

On Saturday we visited Gibson's daughter Bella (Bergkällans Suzuki Intruder). Her master fixed our dogbars to the car and her mistress invited us for some apple-cake, thanks! Friday afternoon we made a sipple blood track as an activity. Timmy knew excactly what was going on - sausage in the end - and took his track like a train, well done old chap! At first Gibs thought it was a search for a bird, you silly, but solved the main task in the end. Afterwards they slept satisfied in the sofa, snoring!

August 21st:
Like a miracle it stopped raining in the afternoon and we could have our crayfish party, delicious! On Sunday we spent the afternoon at my mum's place. We took a long walk, picking blackberry and having dessert with vanilla ice cream with warm blackberry sauce, yummy! Did you know Gibson picks his own berries! Timmy also but Gibs is really good and gets a blue tung!

August 16th:
Today we had a fun day at Kennel Cockerqueen's
where Gibson's daughter Saga lives.
We did a tracking practise, played in the garden,
assisted some homepage making and had a nice dinner.
And taking some pictures of course,
just look at this georgeous photo of Gibson & Saga!

The day after we recieved photos of his daughters
Skrållan & Tindra, siblings to Saga,
take a look att Saga & Skrållan here in litter 4
and Tindra in litter 6

By the way, I've made a new homepage for Skrållan & Tindra!

The new Gibson puppies has also got a new homepage,
take a look at the sweethearts here at kennel Pipaluks!

August 12th:
We have been on a nice trip down to Ronneby and SKK's int. dog show. Dallas is at Shakima's kennel so we had only Gibson and Timmy with us. Timmy as company as always and Gibson shown in veteran class. Judge Mrs. Anja Puumala (kennel Leavenworth) liked him a lot and made him Best Veteran with CC-quality and excellent critic: "9 years old in excellent condition, nice strong masculine head, good neck and topline, well angulated shoulder, very good forechest, nicely boned, very well angulations, well angulated knee, moves well, nice coat with very beautiful markings, excellent type and impression." Only 6 males gained CC-quality for competing as Best Dog so it was nice. But it's starting to be a bit tedious to be 6th Best Dog, just outside the results... Anyway, he gained BOS-Veteran with a nice trophy in the final. My mother was with us and she took some nice photos of Ronneby Park, look at photo album #26. We have also some bath pictures from last weekend in photo album #25.

August 9th:
Ooohhh, what a beauty... it was like seeing Gibson as a puppy again... so adorable! Little Miko (Apache) from his former litter nr 8 came for a visit with his family. They live up in the north of Norway and spends their vacation here in Sweden. Miko is now 4 month old and such a wonderful boy, with very good tan markings and so cool! I'm sure he'll be a very good darling at his sweet active home, best of luck with him! Don't miss the picture of father & son here!

Augusti 3-6th:
We have been on a wonderful vacation to Ann-Catrine and Lennart at Shakima's kennel. It's always so nice to be there and this time we even had the time for some sightseeing, look at photo album #25. On Saturday it was a huge cocker show for Mrs. Elaine Thomas with over 100 entries, where Dallas got a reserv place in youngsters class. Gibson came 3rd Best Veteran, a bit strange 'cause he got an excellent critic, well well, congratulatons to the handsome winner! Congratulations to our own prize for Best Tan: Fancy Paw's Open Mind! And a huge congratulation to Shakima's Cessna, who got her last CAC on Sunday and gained the title Su(u)ch - Swedish Show Champion!!! It was very sad to leave at the end of the weekend, 'cause my little blue boy is going to stay at Shakima's for a while for some shows... Gosh, I'm gonna miss that boy!

On our way home we stayed at Gibson's new offspring, now 4 weeks old and adorable! We had a very nice visit, there's new pictures of the puppies of course - see litter 9! We have also some bath pictures in photo album #25.

At last my warmest congratulations to my dear mother, who also got the very best of champions this weekend. Her white Persian cat was honoured with her last CAC ever and became European Champion!!! EC, THE title! Love you, mum!

August 1st:
Oh, god heavens! The sky really opened and it rained cats and dogs yesterday! What a release after weeks in the Summer heat! Afterwards it's so nice with that cool fresh air. One that has got a nice holiday is Lady & Gibson's son Miko (Apache) who sends his regards from his boat, see the litters gallery here! And we've got a lot of mixed pictures from our very own "Mel Gibson-puppies" - see litter 9!

July 30th:
South West Cocker Club had a nice show with Mr. Filip Johnsson as the judge. Dallas came 4th in youngsters class with a nice critic. Gibson takes 1st place and wins Best Veteran with an excellent critic. They got no place in best dog class but then it was time to show all the qualified dogs and Gibs takes it all - Best Tan, Best Tracking & Best Field Trial! In the finals he gain BIS-Veteran with Zazza's Challenge Cup, BIS-Tracking with kennel Örliden's Challenge Cup and finally BIS-Field Trial with Lukaskannan's Challenge Cup (for the 4th year in a row)! Gibson gave BIS-Tan to the very pretty black/tan bitch Zvenskens Zilk N'Zatin, congratulations! 3 BIS is a nice days work!

On Sunday it was time for Dallas to earn his ticket to the field trial, so exciting! We've started at a Water Test for the first time! The weather was nice but with no wind at all the lake was calm. Dallas started as number 3 among 17. Steady in shot, marks the wild duck and sends for retrieve. Que? Is the water to cold? Is the soil to greasy with big stones? Is the mallard to big? What, Dallas??? No mummy, I don't wanna take a bath today...... So a labrador got to retrieve it instead... so baffled! But we really appreciated judge Mr. Willy Gustafsson, who took the time to throw the mallard out in the water again, just some meters, and encouraged Dallas to fetch it to me, even if he wasn't approved. Just to get a positive ending of this experience. It was only half of them who was approved, a Test is not the same as at home... Dallas got very attentive and watched the other ones with big interest. Thanks for a nice fun day!

July 25th:
Now finally we have pictures of Gibson's new adorable stars... we are so proud 'cause the breeder is honouring him by giving name after movies by our idol - Mel Gibson!!!

Last weekend our little town were invaded by Wheels & Wings. This is a big famous show every year with old cars, motorcycles and aeroplanes, so we had some nice days with picnics and Bar-B-Q, druling over georgeos cars like Ford Mustang -69 and Corvette Stingray. In the evening it's Harbour Festival with nice entertaining.

July 12th:
GIBSON IS A PROUD FATHER AGAIN!!!
Read more at puppies!

July 9th:
The SKK International dog show here in Tvååker offered a sunny day with a cool wind and nice company. Dallas was shown in youngsters class but didn't please the judge Mr. Gert Christensen. On the other hand he liked Gibson and made him Best Veteran with CC-quality and also BOB-Veteran! Best dog class was huge and the judge thanked our old man and wished him luck in the big final. The BIS final was incredible huge with old veterans in almost 40 breeds. Gibson got a Welsh springer spaniel bitch in front of him so he got a very nice drive in the big ring. We didn't make it all the way to the best of five but it was fun to show off in the big finals! :-)
On Saturday we were visiting Gibson's lad Classe (Bergkällans Kawasaki Classic) for a grooming and bar-b-q in the evening. Classe has become real handsome and is such a sweet boy, photo's coming up. Lady & Gibson's son Miko (Apache) sends a greeting from his home in Norway, see the litters gallery here!

July 7th:
On Saturday we had a nice visit to Gibson's daughter Bella (Bergkällans Suzuki Intruder) and her puppies, see them 8 weeks here! We had a nice day with photographing and bar-b-que. Then we've had picnic again with my mum, some new pics are in the photoalbum #24. Under "Mixed" there is also a very useful Glossary. This weekend it's time for SKK International dog show in Tvååker, just around the corner of 15 km. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

June 30th:
Well, I've got the flu for a boring week... too much bathing in the ocean I guess. Just like Gibson Dallas is very fond of water. He's more in it than on the beach so soon he probably gets webbed feet ;-) He's by the way registered to his first watertest the 30 of July, heya! Despite the flu we had a very nice Midsummer, thanks for the greetings! We have also sweet greetings from two of Gibson's new offspring, take a look in their gallery

June 22nd:
Gosh, what fun it is to have dear old friends for a visit! It's one of the true nice things about Summer, more time to spend with friends and your loved ones. So nice to see you again! Yes, it's only 30 kilometers to the famous enormous cheap shopping center, Gekås, so far away friends sure wants a trip there *smile* Timmy had a pleasent birthday and thank you all for the warm congratulations! Lovely pictures of Gibson's offsprings last week at home can be seen in their gallery. Best of luck to you! Have a nice Summer!

June 16th:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIMMY!!!

Our beloved Timmy is 10 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Dear dear old Timmy! Today you can do as you please.
Strolling at the beach, lay in the sun and be cuddle on your stomach.
Slurp on a chewy treat and eat as many meatballs as you like.
Congratulations sweetie!

June 14th:
At Sunday Dallas came along for a sightseeing in Vänersborg with our friend. We were invited for lunch at her friend and photographer Mr. Bo Wallin. So now Dallas has some new beautiful pictures at his site, 15 month old. Thanks Anneli and Bosse for a warm lovely day.

Gibson's offspring moved to their new homes this weekend and we have already got some nice greetings. Wilma has a homepage of her own, only in Swedish but take a look here »

And on Friday our beloved Timmy celebrates his 10th birthday!!! Time for a big sausage cake!

June 3-4th:
Oh, what a pleasent weekend we spent with Gibson's offspring at the Ross family!
First we spent the day at SSRK's show in Hasslarp for judge Mrs. Ann Carlström. Dallas came 4th in juniorklass with the critic: "Masculine head with nice expression, well set ears, very good neck and topline, well bodied for his age, moves a little tight both front and back, moves well from the side but could take a longer drive, very good coat and colour." Gibson won Best Veteran with CC-quality and the critic: "Excellent type & impression, masculine head, nice proportions, dark eyes, well set ears, excellent neck and topline, well bodied, well angulated, moves well from behind, a little tight in front,  moves well from the side, beautiful coat & colour." Only 6 males gained CC-quality and the judge appreciated "the old man" for his nice presentation of the day, but he had to leave for the younger ones in best dog. In the final he gained BOS-Veteran against well knowed Doris, congrats! At Sunday we had the sweet company of Mrs. DeAnn Ross and we had such a sunny wonderful day among good friends! Dallas came 3rd today for Mrs. Barbara Müller with the critic: "Strong scull and foreface, stop being well marked, typical expression, little strenght in shoulders, nice short body, very well angulated in the rear, moves well, just a little weak in topline, excellent light blue coat, well presented." A big congratulation to his granfather Ch Corralet Tango being Best Veteran, 3rd Best dog and BIS-progeny group! The old man Gibson gained therefore 2nd Best Veteran today with the critic: "Nearly nine years old bl/tan, nicely boned, masculine head, nice expression, good forechest, level topline, nice strong feet, a little long in body, moves happily both ways, still very nice coat with good markings, nicely presented, perfect scissorsbite does not show his age." (she was very impressed by his fresh white teeth!) After the show we went back to the Ross' and had a very lovely afternoon at the beach. A huge thanks to the family for a wonderful weekend and a special hug to their daughters Hanna and Clara! We have a lot of nice pictures from the weekend at photo album #23. Don't miss the wedding of the year! And of course new pics of their puppies in litter 8, now 8 weeks old and their gallery.

June 2nd:
Yesterday it was "Dragon Boat Festival" and in the evening we took Dallas down to the city for some social practice. The walk was entertaining for him, with a lot of smells, french fries and some seagulls. Dallas charmed a lot of people with his adorable personality :-) Notice our new fresh Summer design!
May 28th:
Yesterday it was time for West Coast Cocker Club's show with norwegian judge Geir Aronsen at Casein's kennel. Dallas was shown in junior class and placed reserv with a nice critic: "Very good type, good head and expression, well developed forechest, excellent upperarm, good neck and topline, excellent angulations, moves well from all sides, nice size". Gibson wins veteran class with a nice critic, gains Best Veteran with Jazz Up's Challenge Cup and in the final BIS-R Veteran! Our congratulations to the veteran bitch, she is 12 years old and still going strong!

Hmmm, I'm proud to be a Swede as the Swedish horse Conny Nobell won The Elité Race after the winner and runner up were both doped...

Today we celebrated Mother's Day and in the afternoon it was time for the famous Elitloppet 2006 (The Elité Race at Stockholm's trotting-course, Solvalla). Our favourite "Gidde Palema" wasn't entered due to illness so we crossed our fingers for our County horse - Hot Shot Knick! He won the semifinal but the victory went to the French Jaq De Bellouet with a time record at 1.09!

May 25th:
Now we have adorable pictures of Lady & Gibson's puppies, 6 weeks!
Today we changed our car! Even if our old beautiful Audi V8 Quattro was a very nice drive, we were in need of a combi. So now we are typical "Swedish" and got us a lovely Volvo 850! We will miss our old limousine but he will have a good owner ;-)

May 21st:
Took a trip to Scania and SKK Hässleholm for new examined judge Mrs. Petra Junehall among 90 entries! Dallas was a good boy and was placed 3rd among 8 juniors with the critic: "Nice junior with good proportions, masculine well shaped head, slightly short nose, good teeth, good eyes & ears, very good neck & topline, good body, good angulations, very good loins & tail, sound mover, promising coat". Gibson was 2nd Best veteran with a nice critic: "8 ½ years old well done veteran, masculine with good proportions, well shaped head, good nice, nice expression, good neck & topline, nice body, good angulations, well shaped body, good loins & tail, sound mover, nice coat". Then we went to Gibson's new offspring near by and had a lovely visit with them, now 6 weeks old. Pictures coming soon! And you haven't missed that Sweden is World Champions in Ice hockey!!! (what is Eurovision Song Contest against the real GOLD?!)

May 1st:
Is this what they call water retrieving? What wouldn't you do for a dummy? On Saturday we took a trip to our nearest creek, that runs out in the ocean Kattegatt, for some water training with dummies. Both Gibson and Dallas enjoyed the water, even though little Dallas wouldn't really swim. This ended up that a dummy began to float away... so I thought I could send Gibson out for it but at this time he of course hadn't a clue where it was as it had been floating about 100 meters to the right. It was floating alarmingly towards another seashore if it wasn't floating off to the big ocean far away... So, what wouldn't you do for a dummy and some positive practice? Well, you simply have to take some clothes off and start to wade. I can tell you the temperature was not nice! With my help Gibson found the dummy and swum back to the beach. But my little sweatheart, what are you doing out here in the deep water, Dallas? Well, I had to follow my mum, so Dallas swims! It was sure nice with a towel and a hot cup of coffee afterwards... Take a look at the first dip in the ocean in photo album #22

April 27th:
Soon we're going to visit Gibson's new offspring, yummy! We're waiting for new pictures but in the mean time enjoy the first Spring signs - wildwood windflower and coltsfoot in photo album #22.

April 18th:
Thanks for all the nice Easter Greetings! We hope you had a really lovely holiday!
Daddy Gibson got such a sweet photo of his little new boy, look here»

April 12th:
On tuesday we were at the local dog club with Dallas. We practiced some obedience and he was such a good dog. He spontanously even found the special retrieving dummy made of wood you use here and carried it around like a proud cock!

GIBSON IS A PROUD FATHER AGAIN!!!

Today Sunday the 9th we have been at an "field trial introduction" for the Cocker Club. 1 year old Dallas wants to learn to hunt... Sure, we have been practicing here at home but you always welcome chances to practice among other like-minded. Over 10 interested cocker owners came, so nice! First they had an introduction of the day's activity and what it means with a real field trial. One of the leaders showed a search and retrieve with her cocker girl and then my experienced Gibson was honoured to also show off *smile* After the coffee brake it was time for our beginners. We practiced some fetching and call up and Dallas was real good despite rowdy elements. Old Timmy was happy just to be with the company and mother nature. Thanks for a nice day and we do hope we will see at least some of you in the fields!

April 1-2nd = april's fool?
Our dear friends from Shakima's kennel have been here for the show at SSRK Uddevalla. It was a change of judge both days for my boys. Saturday for Mrs. Phyllis Wice: She liked my little Dallas and placed him 4th among 12 juniors. Then I showed Shakima's Concorde to 2nd place with CC-quality in youngsters class, nice! And Gibson got Hp in veteran class, Best Working dog and in the finals 3rd BIS-Gundogs! Congratulations to Konrad's sister Shakima's Cessna to yet another CAC and 2nd Best bitch for Mr. Frank Kane! And also to Led-Zeppelin for BOS-Baby! Sunday for Mr. Kim Bay: He thought Dallas had "such a sweet temperament" but he isn't his type so we got just a 1st prize. But then we all were looking forward to Mister Gibson in veteran class! He got a super critic with CC-quality but this time he was beaten and only gained 2nd Best Veteran... No place in Best Dog but he gained BOB Working dog and Reserv BIS-Gundogs...

March 23rd:
We have some lovely pictures of the winter landscape in photo album #21.

March 19th:
Today it was SKK's international dog show in Malmoe for judge Paul Stanton. Among 60 entries 25 was given 2nd and even 3rd price in quality... Unfortunately Dallas got a 2nd price like half of the 15 entries in junior class. But Gibson won veteran class with CC-quality! Ended up as 6th best dog out of only 8 competing in best dog among 35 entries! So you had to be proud for that! In the final he gained BOS-Veteran. Later on we had a shopping tour among hundreds of dogs and people and I'm just so proud of my boys calm behavior!

March 13th:

February 13th:
We've had a nice weekend with long walks in the sunshine. Little Dallas found a hare's leg again and we had some retrieving with it and some dummies. The big ones for Mr. Gibson and smaller ones for little Dallas. Well he isn't that little any longer, our raschal is now 11 month old and we have some new georgeous pictures of him at his site!
The Sunday I spent with my mum at her cat club's show, this time serving sandwishes, hot dogs and lunch. Daddy Gibson got some sweet greetings from his offspring #5, take a look at the gallery at litter #5.

February 9th:

Hip, hip, hurrah!

Gibson's daughter Clara (SLCH SVCH Tullebyns Two For The Show) is #2 AGILITY COCKER OF THE YEAR 2005! Proud owner is Mrs. Anita Pettersson. Huge congratulations!!!

February 7th:
Oops, we've totally forgot our website... but we have had some other promising activities... more about them later on! Last Thursday I took Dallas to the local Working Club for some social training. He behaved very well and is really good now in both "stay" and "come". We're waiting for the Youngsters Course and later on I will do a Mental Test with him which gonna be interesting. The dog meets several different "things" and you can then see what response he makes mentaly. An other thing we've forgotten about is our christmas present, the digital camera! So now we have several beautiful winter pics in photo album #20.

Well, no show result to mention really... but we had a nice weekend with our friends at Hasam's kennel, thanks Anette och Bosse! On Sunday Gibson was shown in working class, honour to the judge? Gibson was in top condition, won his class and got his cc-quality... but was not placed among the best dogs... Allright, as BOB-working dog then? But oh no, the bitch from Tomboy's kennel won!

January 19th:
Dallas was really disobedient today for the first time... run after a rabbit despite me bellowed! So there goes all his braincells in a second! Gibson also went after in the heat of the moment but fortunately he's got more sense so he came back. But the little rascal thought this was very interesting... until he saw my angry face... and then I ignored him... sorry mum?! Otherwise there's nothing new. We enjoy living in our new home and now the open landscape is just arround the corner, which is much-appreciated for the boys of course. We've got some new sweet greetings from Gibson's offspring in litter 6. And some great news! My precious...

GIBSON 6:th VETERAN OF THE YEAR!!!

January 9th:
Now we have moved to a bigger house down the road and everything went well. Notice our new address number. We've been at the first show of the year at SKK Int. in Gothenburg. Dallas made his debute in junior class for judge Mrs. Zena Thorn-Andrews: "Very good size, compact, well leveled topline, good head, a little more neck would improve, good front movements, well rounded ribcage, good quarters, nice flat and silky coat, needs time to pull himself together, nice mover." Sweet Dallas gladly wins 1:st place among 10 entries! Our little diamond!

We would like to wish all our friends and especially our offspring a Happy New 2006 and wish you all the very best! Some highlights of 2005: The year started excellent by meeting my boyfriend Mr. Clas Andersson, love U! Unfortunately the Spring was a bit boring as I broke my angle, the foot in plaster and crutches for six weeks... and therefore without my little boys! Then Gibson made some new stars in two new litters! We had a super lovely weekend in London! And then came Dallas... this little super diamond that took everybody by surprise! We are so in love with him, thanks again sweet Ann-Catrine! Highlight of the year I must say goes to my everything, my precious - Gibson! It was such a happy day when he took that CC! I still think his field trial award some years ago was and is something extra...  but a CC feels almost as good as gold! *smile* So off we go "hunting" for the 2 other ones... he he!
