* * HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! * *
*
December 31
Yesterday we had a
long lovely walk in the
forest with coffee in
the sun! Today it's the
last day of the year
and we wish you all a
Happy New Year! Please,
look after your dogs
tonight among all the
fireworks!
The Police phoned on
Friday night! They had
found our old car, 70
km from our town at a
parking lot. So on
Saturday we went for a
look. It was in a okey
condition besides some
things stolen of course...
§#¤%&!!! Now the
tow truck has moved it
to a Volvo-garage and
we will contact the insurence company
for the final paperworks.
December 28
Oh, we've had such
a lovely holiday, with
lots of good food and
lovely company! For
example Anneli at
kennel Cockerqueen's
were here today and we
had a nice lunch. Then
she wanted to groom my
little hairy blue boy.
Well, he got a slightly
short haircut... but
it's ok dear, it's
practical in this
weather and will grow
out one day... Then we
had some website
training and I gave her
a homework til next
time.
December 23
Day before Christmas
Eve and we've got many
new holiday greetings,
thank you all so much!
Today we're going to my
mum for Advent dinner.
From all of us - to all
of you - A Merry
Christmas!!!
December

Gosh! A true copy of Gibson!
It's actually his son Nikki (Pipaluk's
Maverick)
but he's truly daddy's lad!!!
Click at the link
for some more pics
of Nikki!
More lovely
holiday greetings, thank you all so
much!

Wow, so many lovely
holiday greetings we've
got, thank you all so
much! Take a look at
the link above.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
DARLING!
WE LOVE YOU!!!
|
|
Thank you all for
your conserne about our
stolen car! It's so
nice to have real
friends! Now we have
"bought"
another car, it's
almost the
same as the old one but
newer and even better :-)
December 9
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Gibson's 4th litter is 4 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!
|
Now perhaps we're
just as calm so we can
write suitable here...
but it has been a lot
of angry words since
Saturday... SOMEONE HAS
ENTERTAINED THEMSELVES
BY STEELING OUR CAR!!!
What can you say? You
can't believe it's true
when you see no car -
the car is gone! In
pure english you get so
pissed!!! Besides the
nice car, we had a lot
of dog things in the
back such as cage, show
tent, a lot of dummies,
tracking things,
blankets, collars
etc... We have done a
report to the police
and insurence company
so now it's going to be
a lot of paperwork
instead of wrapping in
christmas gifts! We
have to wait for two
weeks in case of the
police finding the car
(on Christmas Eve?!) We
wish the thieves a
really wheely christmas!
§#¤%&!!! But calm
down now... nice and
easy... it is christmas
time and we should take
care of each other and
be generous... so we wish
everyone else a jolly Lucia!
December
2
Now my darling Clas has
spoiled me again! This
Friday we had an
amazing Christmas
dinner with friends at
the restaurant Maja's
By the Sea. They have a
very special Christmas
menu. It's
only one dinner per
night between 19 - 24
PM so you have lots of
time to enjoy the meals.
The meals are devided
in three themes; Sea -
Land - Heaven. First
there is sea food from
the delicacy of the
ocean. Then it's a
pause for 20 min. Then
comes the dainty of the
Land with juniper
smoked ham and honey
glazed ribs for exaple.
After another pause the
Heaven is served. No
simple gingerbread
biscuits here. Now
we're enjoying
chocolate mousse, crème
brylé and chocolate
truffle!
This is really
something for us
gourmets! Today
it's Sunday dinner at
mum's place, we light
the first candle and
wish you all a Nice
Advent!

Gibson's daughter Bella
(Bergkällans
Suzuki Intruder) and granddaughter Alma (Bellasikos
Red Rubin) has been
at an open dog show in
the south with nice
results. Bella won open
class and gained Best
bitch and BOS!
Her daughter Alma came
2nd Best puppy! Go
girls! Warm
congratulations to
Marita & Bert at Bellasikos
kennel!

We've taken it easy
this week and just
having our regular
long walks. One of
the dogs often goes
with master to his
job once a week and
this time it was
Gibson's turn. The
wastepaper basket is
fun, but they soon
get a bone to chew
on 'cause you
otherwise get the
whole
office full of confetti.
Visiters and
coffebreakes is
popular, and off
course exploring the
neighbourhood. It's
still green here and
no sight of snow yet.
But our sweet
sparrows in our
garden are happy and
eating our seed all
day long. Moments
like these you also
appreciate a trained
birddog, cause the
boys don't bother
when the birds
stroll in the ground
for seeds. Dallas
can watch them just
2 meters away :-)
November

SSRK's show in Åstorp
for kind Mr. Wim Wellen, NL. My little
blue boy came along and
showed himself happily!
Critic: "2 ½
years compact and cobby
male, would prefere
more masculine type,
nice soft expression,
correct angulations,
very good coat, happy
on the move".
Dallas got just 1st
price in a huge open
class among 19 dogs.
But I'm pleased 'cause
he's a joy to show with
such a drive! We had
nice company and
congratulates Shakima's
to both BOB &
BOS-baby, Sätra's to
BIS-puppy, Occi's BOS
and CAC with new
champion and Line Sam
with BOB &
BIS!
November

On Sunday we had the
hunting practise as
usual. The dogs trained
some retrieving and
pore Dallas had to wait
while I helped the others
throwing dummies. It
can be hard to just sit
and watch... -I
know where it is!
-Please, I can fetch
it! But of course he
got his time to show
off, clever boy! This
Tuesday our local Working Dog Club
had a
trainingcompetition
again, so all the boys
came along and read the
biggest "newspaper"
in the city! It's a
small but very good
excersice for the dogs
to meet others and just
sniff around. Our
warmest thanks for
congratulations at
Gibson's 10th birthday,
so sweet of you all!
November
3
We
packed the bag with
special gifts as
traditional at Gibson's
birthday, and
had a sunny day at
Lahall. Gibson really
enjoyed the day as he
found his most precious
possesions - Mr. Rabbit
and Mr. Pheasant! Also
Timmy had a sniff at
the rabbit but oh no,
he would never take his
hands on that, pooh!
Dallas fetched a duve
and a dummy with wings.
He also got to try Mr.
Pheasant but I think it
was too big for him *smile*
Later on they all layed
down in the sun, happy
and satisfied with
their own treasures,
while we had a nice
picnic by the beach.

HAPPY
BIRTHDAY GIBSON!!!
Our precious Gibson is 10 years
old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!
|
Precious Gibson, you know several birds and a
rabbit is waiting for you
to give you the best day ever! Then it's
icecream, your favorite!
Today it's All Saint's Day and YOUR day -
you're a saint to us!
Congratulations, dearest friend!

November 2
Tomorrow is THE day! My precious Gibson becomes 10 years old!
The big old pheasantcock is thawing in the shed to give Gibson the best
day in the fields. Shore we practise with birds other days too, but this
pheasant is so big and takes time to thaw, so I only use it at his
birthday. He got it several years ago when he gained his field trial
award, so it's extra special! As my PRECIOUS!
October 30
Last Tuesday in every month our local Working Dog Club has a
trainingcompetition, so there's no free practise that day. Dear old
Timmy came along for some social meeting. And it was sooo many dogs to
look at and sooo many sence to smell at!!! We practised a little
obedience outside the courtyard and it's a piece of cake when you have
Frolic! Then I got some coffee and looked at the competitors while Timmy
played with a Colliemale. He is so sweet - over 11 years old and still
full of joy!
Ocktober 29
We have finally some really good pictures from our hunting course nr 2
in September, thanks Patrik! Se photoalbum
#43. There's
also pictures from our long walk this Saturday in photoalbum
#42.
Yesterday we had a lovely puppy-meeting
at Cockerqueen's kennel, as Gibson has two litters at Anneli's,
among her others. The weather wasn't the best but prox. 15 happy puppies
at mixed age came with their sweet families. We started with some coffee
and then several tried a wild tracking I had done, which was quite fun
for them. Mr. Maths
Lindberg held a lecture about hips and diet and it was
very interesting. After that there was a show in obedience and then we
finished with a small bar-b-q. Thanks for a nice day!
October 27
Great
news! Gibson offspring
eyetested and hip
scored clear: Cockerqueen's
Tinkerbell!
Today I've spent the day with mum in the big forest, picking
chanterelles and spruce for some decorations. Down by the little lake we
saw the non so friendly Mr. Adder! And later on 3 mooses, in broad
daylight! So we had a nice day filled with lots of exercise and wild
animals. The boys are sleeping like babies. Lovely pictures in
photoalbum #42. There's oldnew pictures
from an ordinary long walk in photoalbum #41.
October 24
Dallas has been at the free obedience practise
at our local Working Dog Club. This time they had a lay-still with
shooting and he managed it perfectly. He gets more and more clever and
thinks it's really fun to practise. We trained some odedience as usual
and now jumping over the fence. Then he found another dog's retrieving
stick! So I got one from the material shed and he enjoyed to fetch it as
the retrieving spaniel he is!
Afterwards we finished with a coffee in the clubhouse among friends.
October 21
Gibson's grandchild Freja (Cockerqueen's
Royal Perfect Pearl) did very well at Halland's County's Dog
Show today! She danced in the ring and gained Best Bitch 6-9 month and BOS-Puppy!
Congratulations, go girl!
And congratulations to her kennelmate Ove as BOB!
Practise with the spaniel gang again. Dallas was really alert today
and we had a nice contact! We practised som straight retrieving with an
orange dummy, a bit hard to see for us two-legged among the leaves but
dogs have such an amazing sence so he found it right away every time!
Next time I think it's time for a sausage grill as it gets chillier by
every week. Thanks folks!
October 16
Nothing special during the last week. We have a wonderful autumn weather
here so we enjoy the sunny long walks. Every Tuesday it's free practise
at our local Working Dog Club. We practised some obedience and then
steadyness with the ball. I hide a toy in the bushes outside the court
and Dallas found it easily while other dogs practised around him.
Afterwards we finished with a coffee in the clubhouse among friends.
As Dallas gets the most activities nowadays I always try to
compensate my veterans. Gibson gets some practise with dummies and some
obedience here at home and Timmy is really good with the obedience if I
have meatballs *smile*
October 6
In Augusti I applied to The Field Spaniel Club's hunting course! And I
had the pleasure to join them among 10 members at Bäckatorp's
Pheasant Farm outside Örebro. Dallas and I had a long really
interresting day with hunting obedience, pidgeons and field practise.
Thanks to FSC, Harriet and Mats for a lovely day and travel company!
Also a huge congratulations to Marie with Solid Harmonys Roman Holiday
to 1st prize at the field trial this Sunday! Go girl, welcome to the
gundog class Holly!
October 2
Look what a nice an fun picture of Gibson's grandchild!
It's "Stina" by his daugther Cockerqueen's
Celebrian.
She lives in Norway and is a great hunter, thanks lass!
Grandpa is so excited of a greeting like this!
SUPER CONGRATULATIONS
to Gibson's fantastic daughter
Clara
(SLCH SVCH
SAGCH Tullebyns Two
For The Show)
Now Clara is also
proud owner of the
title AGILITY
CHAMPION!!!
What a performance -
you are fabolous Mrs. Anita
Pettersson!

September 30
Sunday practise with the spaniel gang again. Today we practised with
a grouse and I can tell you it's a bit confusing to retrieve a simple
dummy after you have had a bird in the grass. On Saturday we
were at the Harvest Festival at the Fortress. It was very nice decorated
with all the harvest of the Summer and lots of samples to try. We also
had the harvest dinner, thanks mum!
September 23
Yes! We had such a fun day at hunting
course nr 2! For
instance Dallas did a correct water retrieving with a perfect soft grip
of the duck! Thanks Bengt for the reunion!
September 23
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Gibson's 1st litter is 7 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!
|
Guess what time do
fly... Gibson's first
date was with Ms.
Muffan for over 7 years
ago and today their
babies become
"veterans"!
I'm so proud of my
Precious Gibson becoming
such a good studdog.
He's a true gentleman
that charmed many
girls in his days!
Perhaps for his colour
and merits but most of
all for his charm! I'm
feeling a bit
sentimental today so
we're sending a special
kiss to all his wifes,
children and
grandchildren! Kisses to
you all!
September 22
Yeah! Tomorrow it's
gonna be so fun!!! It's
time for Dallas hunting
course nr 2! Today we
went for a little walk
in the town with the
boys. There's a lot of
nice "newspapers"
for them to sniff at. On
trees, lamping posts and corners. Because you do
take your dog for a walk
EVERY DAY? One of my
favorite TV-programs is
The Dogwhisperer with
Cesar Millan. But I'm
chocked when he asks how
often do they walk their
dog and they answer just
one time on the weekend!
No wonder the dog is
bored and suffers from
overactions, when it's
only in the backyard all
day. So Cesar suggests
that they starts to walk
the dog every day,
and you can see that
just this little
interesting "newspaper"
makes the dog more
happy! The best thing is
to activate your dog
with a hobby but I guess
you have to be pleased
just to know it get's a
good walk every day at
least... Gosh, my dogs
are spoiled rotten! *smile*
So give your dog a fun
time, he's man's BEST
FRIEND!
September 16
Yesterday we went to an
action and I found a new
cheep backpack. I thought I'd
use it for our hunting
practise but today it
was raining so we
cancelled the practise.
Later in the afternoon
it stopped so then we
went to the forest with
the boys and found some
chanterelles!
September 10-12
We've had a nice visit
from Söderköping again,
Lena &
Ann-Catrine with Rakel
& Mickie, so Dallas
got some fun playmates.
We twolegged did some
fun shopping and visited
Gibson's grandchildren
at his daughter Bella
and Lena's sire Texas
;-) See the litter at Bellasikos
kennel. We also had a nice dinner at a restaurant and a trip to the
beach, see photoalbum
#40.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Weightwatchers - here we come!? I took a chance and showed my boys among
90 cockers (!) for the brand new Mr. Harry Vella from Malta as judge
at SKK in beautiful Sofiero (Scania). He was a really nice acquaintance.
Today my little Dallas "only" got a 1st price among 18 open
class dogs BUT would been placed if he didn't carried a bit excess
weight... My old veteran had also pinched from the cockie jar so
just 2nd
Best Veteran
for Gibson. The judge said "Well, this boy
is also carrying too much weight so you must have a good kitchen. I
really liked your blue boy, he had the right proportions for CC-quality
so I'm sorry" I answered a bit embarrassed "like mother - like
dog" and then he smiled just a little bit ;-) Well well, I like my
elephants anyway but now I guess it will be just water and bread on the
menu... We did celebrate at the famous Salmon Restaurant on the way home,
cause my friend Marita won the CC and BOS with her Springer Spaniel
bitch. Congratulations!

My little darling Dallas! Guess what nice things you can find besides
the dummies... Today we had our first spaniel training again after the
Summer break, thanks for a nice day! It's so good to train with others,
practise obedience while they're next to you, and just sit and wait and
watch another fetch a dummy. Hilights of the day was several occasions!
Our training court is at an open spot next to the forest, near a
fireplace for campers and after all the Summer visitors there was
several "left overs" in the bushes. My friend layed out some
dummies for Dallas and I sent him to retrieve. He found the first one
and the second one and suddenly he came with a chicken bone! -Oh gosh,
good boy! And when we had a coffee break he came with a pork bone and
several halfburned potatoes! It's really fascinating that he does not
eat it in a second like normal dogs! But EVERYTHING goes to mum, that's
it!
August 24-27
We have been at SKK's show in Stockholm with Hasam's
kennel.
Thanks for a lovely weekend! This time Gibson had a lot of really high
quality dogs to compete against. But unfortunately he became a little
bit stiff on his left leg so he didn't had the right drive for a nice
placement. He became 3rd Best Veteran with CC-quality and our sweet
judge Mr. Kim Bay smiled and wishes us welcome back next time *smile*.
Gibson's grandchild Freja (Cockerqueen's
Royal Perfect Pearl) did very well at SKK's West Cost Puppy
Show and gained BOS! Congratulations, go girl!
And a huge congratulations to Dallas daddy Axel (Shakima's
Mambo) who gained CAC at SSRK in Södertälje! Go daddy go!!!
August 22
Been at mum's today painting windows. Then we went to the forest and
picked some blueberries and had a delicious pie for dessert! And guess
what - now it's time for the game!!! Look out birdies, here we come!
August 17
Yet another nice day at Cockerqueen's
and this time it was time to do the veterinarian check of her puppies.
After that we had a fun time photographing the litters and at one point
we tried to get one litter together on the sofa. It was
NOT easy but we did had fun! Puppy pics are at her site. Afterwards I
took a small longwalk in the woods, made some small tracks for the boys
and ate some blackberries.
August 15
Now we have been at Gibson's grandchildren at Bellasikos
kennel. They're over 3 weeks old now and so adorable! We had a nice
day with dinner and puppy pics. And then Dallas has got an e-mail from
the hunting group about a new course this autumn, it will be FUN!
August 9
Gibson's got sweet greetings from his daughter Elsa (Cherokee),
thanks! And we have some new pics from our sunny day yesterday, see photo
album #39.
August 3 - 6
We have been at kennel Shakima's over the weekend and their local Cocker
Club's annual show, this year for Mr. Les
Chambers (kennel Selnna) North Irland (69 entries). It is a lot of work to
make a dog show be appreciated so on Friday afternoon we cut the grass
at the show ground and prepared everything for the show next day. First I
showed Dallas to a nice 3rd place in open class with "Compact
and well balanced, good head, moderate length of neck, slightly heavy on
the shoulder, good front and rear angulation, moved well". Gibson came 2nd as
Best Veteran among
several with "Excellent impression, well presented, well
balanced, good head and neck and shoulders, good depth of chest, good
rib, good front and rear angulation and movements, very good condition
for his age". And then I showed a black bitch (who is sister to Gibson's late
wife) to 5th Best Bitch! Congratulations to Shakima's
Cessna BIS-R! Gibson finished by gaining Best Tan! A
bit funny 'cause it's my own Challenge
Cup! After the show we
had a lovely dinner with the judge and his wife among the comittee and
friends. On Sunday we had a lazy day in the sun while my sweet Clas took
care of Mr. & Mrs. Chambers as he was the ring secretary for the
show, with a price of honour!
July 30
Today we spent the day at Cockerqueen's
again,
having a nice lunch, admiring the puppies and photographed them in the
sun,
see their website! Also some lovely photos of Gibson's generations are
in their photoalbum.
July 28
Time for South West Cocker Club and their show, this year with Mr.
Geoff Parkin of Mistfall kennel as the judge.
Dallas was showed in a
huge open class (15) with a
nice critic but no
place. Gibson
takes 2nd place as
Best Veteran also with
a nice critic.
Congratulations to Dallas
grandfather who gained
BIS-R, still going strong pushing 12 in champion class! Then it
was time to show all the
qualified dogs and Gibson
takes it all -
Best Tan, Best Tracking
& Best Field
Trial! In the finals he
was a gentleman and became BIS-R but he is unbeaten as BIS-Field
Trial with
Lukaskannan's Challenge
Cup (for the 5th year in
a row)!
July 22
Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather
again!
His daughter Bergkällans
Suzuki Intruder
gave birth to a lovely litter. Hugs & kisses to you, Bella! We've
got a sweet summer greeting from Robin (Cockerqueen's
Robin Hood) thanks!
July 17
Dallas
collects several things
in his basket in the
kitchen and here is what
you can find: 3 marrow
bones, 2 chewing bones, 2
tennis balls, 1 rubber ball, 1
golf ball, 5 toys, 4
socks, 1 glove,
1 squeaking toy and 1 par of sunglasses! On Sunday we had a nice
little trip down to
Scania and visited Gibson's daughter Bella (Bergkällans
Suzuki Intruder) with her family. They had a week of vacation in Torekov.
Finally we had some real
sunny weather so first
we had a nice lunch in
the sun, a long walk at
the beach, played some
mini golf and then a
b-b-q in the evening.
Thanks for a nice day! Pictures are in
photo
album #38.

Today Dallas has made a Mental Test at Varberg's Working Dog Club and he
is Approved inclusive gunshot! It's really fascinating to see and
learn what you have in the leach. The test leader sad it was fun to see
a dog who thought the gunshot was FUN! :-)
July 6:

June 21-27
We have had a wonderful vacation with Ann-Catrine and Lennart at Shakima's kennel.
Just relaxing, breathing the country air, taking care of puppies,
enjoying the silence at night and just be... thank you so much! Midsummer Eve we were at
our friends among 40 people and having a perfect Midsummer, thanks! Some nice
pictures are in photo
album #37. And of course we met Gibson's adorable guitars!!! We have
super sweet pics in
their album!
June 18
A huge thank you to Bengan, Gerda & Marita for such a jolly weekend
and hunting course! Thumbs up for Dallas and I'm very pleased with him! Pictures

album #36.
June 16
HAPPY
BIRTHDAY TIMMY!!!
Our beloved Timmy is 11 years
old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!
|
Dear old Timmy got an extra tasty breakfast today, congratulations
sweetie! Now I'm off with Dallas to a hunting course this weekend
and it's gonna be so jolly! It would be nice to bring Mr. Gibson along
just for the pleasure, but it's Dallas who needs to learn more about the
field trials so the oldies are staying home with master Clas and I'm
sure they'll have a nice weekend as well! June 13
Gibson's puppies have had a lovely visit from sweet Elina, see their album. June 12
Tonight I've been at the Working Dog Club and practised obedience with
Dallas. Tonight they also had a little fun competition. You send the dog
to find and retrieve 5 things in 5 minutes at an area of 50x50 meters in
the forest. So I thought that a spontaneous retriever as Dallas it
shouldn't be so difficult. And he managed to find 3 thing, clever boy!
He missed the plastic spoon and a dishbrush as most of the other 9
competitors but I'm very pleased with him! Well done! June 10
Way do we always get the wrong way to this dog show... it's just the E:6
highway straight up but in Vänersborg we're always loosing track...
Well, we do have fun together Anneli and I :-) Judge was Mrs. Liz-Beth
C Liljeqvist and Gibson won Best Veteran with CC-quality and a nice
critic: "Excellent type, veteran in excellent condition, beautiful head and expression, a
bit long in loin, nice body, a bit slope in croup, very good angulations,
moves with elegance and drive despite age and warm weather".
Nope, no place in Best Dog just BOS-Veteran. And it was such a hot
day... but thanks
to chilled bricks wrapped in a towel in a plastic bag he manage to stay
cool!
June 9
Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather
again!
His daughter Bergkällans
Yamaha Virago
gave birth to a lovely litter. Hugs & kisses to you, Noella!
June 6
We spent Swedens National Day the best way we
could think of - at the heart of Swedens nature! See new photo
album #35
June 5
Here is some new fun pics of Gibson's offspring now 6 weeks
old in their album. June

Gibson's sweet grandchild Freja (Cockerqueen's
Royal Perfect Pearl) showed herself to 1st place in baby class
at SSRK
Hasslarp and also BOB-Baby!
Huge congratulations! After a long day you do get tired so in the BIS
final she didn't take a place but breeder Anneli is so pleased with her! We
have been on a big adventure this weekend. It was our County The West
Spaniel & Retriever Club's huge activity day with over 800 visitors!
"Someone" knew that both Clas and I have experience from
restaurant so the kitchen service fell on our lot. On Saturday morning
we bought all the food and accessories so the car went full to the top!
Then off to meet the other functionaries on the afternoon and do the
arrangements for the next day. In the evening we had a nice bar-b-q.
Sunday morning started at 7 AM making breakfast and at 9 we opened the
gates for the public. Gosh, we couldn't imagine all the hungry people,
we made hamburgers, sausages and served all day long, but it was fun! And
I had a little fun competition for the hungry dogs as well. I made a
plate with a sausage, a piece of bread, a piece of cucumber and a piece
of lettice and on my comand the dogs would eat all the things on the
plate as fast as they could. The winner got a bone treat and the
spectators applause! Otherwise you could watch different kinds of
activities like working test, retrieving show, try game tracking, try
agility, blind dog show and guided tours arround the activities. Then
there were a lot of breed tents with information about the breeds
belonging to group 8, Spaniels & Retrievers. My dogs were outside
near the kitchen in a playpen looking just like sweet cockers and now
and then we took them for a walk among the activities. It was so fun to
see all these good dogs working!

Gibson's new sweethearts are now 5 weeks and we've got wonderful
pictures in their album.

Today it's Mother's Day and the famous Elitloppet 2007 (The Elité Race at
Stockholm's
trotting-course, Solvalla). Our County horse - Red Chili Pirat came 3rd
after the French and the American, not bad at all!
Yesterday it was time for West Coast Cocker Club's show with judge
Barbara Ward, kennel Wensum. Gibson's granddaughter Freja (Cockerqueen's
Royal Perfect Pearl) is truly a little pearl! It IS a bit scary to be in
the ring by yourself only four months old. Everybody's looking so she
just strolled around being cute! I dusted Dallas and he became quite
nice.
Shown in open class but not placed with a nice critic: "Light
blue roan dog 2 years, typical cocker temperament, short and compact
body, could carry a little less weight to advantage, happy true mover".
I can agree he does have a good kitchen *smile* But he is a merry cocker
as Mr. Veteran: "A nearly 10 years black and tan dog, masculine
head with kind expression, conformation good true out, good body and
substance, moved very well, a credit to his owner!". This nice
critic made Gibson Best Veteran
with Jazz Up's Challenge Cup and in the final BIS-R Veteran. But
we are extra proud of Charlie's Memory! A new Challenge Cup to Best
Tan! Thanks Lena, it's looking good on the sideboard! Congratulations to
Dallas grandfather who gained BIS, still going strong pushing 12 in champion
class!
* The world's biggest KISS to my darling Clas for my birthday
present - a brand new computer!!! *

Wow wow wow, look
at theese adorable
babies!!!
I have been in
Soederkoeping with
Gibson's daugther
Bella (Bergkällans
Suzuki Intruder) and her owners on a
date with Bella's
fiancé Texas (Sätra's
Texas O
Kolapappret). We
had some really
nice days among my
old friends and I
met Gibson's new
offspring! Those
two precious
babies! My
camera was hot and
there's new pictures
of them 4 weeks
old in their album.
Thanks to my
wonderful Lena! Thanks to
Marita & Bert
for a fun journey! Now
we keep our
fingers crossed
for lovely
grandchildren!

May 18-19
My sweet veteran guy Gibson
was shown for the
Finnish judge Mr. Matti Tuominen
at SKK
Hässleholm on Friday: "Excellent type, nearly 10 years old
vet in excellent condition! Pleasing head and expression, good bones,
excellent body, a bit slope in croup, could be a bit better in behind
(?!), excellent presented, lovely temperament". With this nice
critic he won Best Veteran
with CC-quality. There
were several dogs with
2:nd and 3:rd price in
quality... So it was
only 8 dogs in Best Dog
class, so a CC-quality
is a premier today. We
congrat our nice company
(B)Ingo
to a 4:th place and Gibson
finnished as BOS-Veteran
(?!), see BOB & BOS here. On
Saturday we had a change
of judge to the new Mrs. Cindy Pettersson. "10 years old
vet in shining condition, masculine head, good nice teeth, good
neck and shoulders, good
angulations all around, a bit slope in
croup, a bit
narrow in front (?),
moves well".
This critic gave same
result as yesterday.
We had a nice day among friends as usual but the weather and the arrangements was not the
best. Pitty there was no clever hunting cocker or a handsome veteran dog represented at The Cocker Spaniel Club's annual Club Show today... May

Gibson's new sweethearts are now 3 weeks and we've got wonderful
pictures in their album.
May 15
I was wondering what Dallas growled at in the garden
last night... and here is the profe! Two lovely hedgehogs on a sweet
date!
Master Clas has
been at SSRK's annual
meeting over the
weekend and came
home full of new
inspiration! -What
lovely and clever
dogs we have who
likes to work! And
in June we're off
to a huntingcourse
with Dallas, it's
going to be fun!
And I think
what a lovely
boyfriend I have
who suggested a
wild tracking on
Thursday!
I were at the working dog club tonight with Dallas and practised
obedience. They had a small agilitycompetition at the other side of the course.
It was fun to watch and also useful to train some contactpractise. |

May 12
My mother is free on
Fridays so we often
spend this day together.
This time we went to our
old summer place again.
Lahall has superlarge
enclosed pastures and
meadows with lovely
nature. It's just at the
end of where the river
Viskan comes out in the
ocean. You can stroll
around and watch the
birdlife, have a picnic
and it's also perfect
for practising
water-retrieving. This
day we had a lovely
picnic in the sun,
collected some shells
and let the dogs take a
bath. Today I took the
bicycle-carriage to the
large enclosed pastures
where the sheep are out
for the season with
their adorable lambkin.
The enclosed pastures
are very large so
sometimes you don't even
see the sheep at all.
It's nice to still be
able to take a long walk
here, now when the sheep
are here, if you only
have your dogs under
control and close the
gates!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's puppies are 2 weeks old and have just opened their eyes,
see new pictures in their album.
We have also the pictures from Gibson's visit to his
son Nikki (Pipaluk's
Maverick) and the dog show.
Tonight I was at the dog working club with Dallas and
trained some obedience. We practised sit, lay down and stay still
position. Everything
worked fine. After a coffee brake we trained some retrieving, he was a
clever dog and found out that the dummy was behind the big fence mirror.
This weekend master Clas is off to SSRK's annual meeting, hope the
weather is nice so I can take a really long ride with the bicycle
carriage and have a picnic with the boys at a large meadow.
May 6
On Saturday we were at my pretty 15 years old niece's confirmation.
After that I went with Gibson to his son Nikki (Pipaluk's
Maverick). We had a nice evening with b-b-que. Nikki's little owner
Jolene had a fun time with Gibson, playing and practising some tricks
when we were grooming Nikki's puppycoat. An extra hug to you, sweetie!
On Sunday it was time for Nikki's premiere in juniorclass and he made a
good start with 1st price and 6th place among 9 junior dogs. Daddy
Gibson gained
Best Veteran with
CC-quality and BOS-veteran.
It's something special to see these two together... father and son as
one... I'm sure Nikki will charm everyone and become a real gentleman!
Pictures of our weekend will come soon, in the meantime take a look at
lovely pictures of my boys having fun in a pond in new
photo album
#32.

Gibson's new puppies are 1 week old and so
adorable! We have new pictures here in their album.
We had a nice and fun
Walpurgis night together with Clas' sister and
boyfriend. Dinner and cocktails in the garden
and Scrabble and cards all night long!
My mother and I had a picnic
again at Borrås Cleft on Friday afternoon, see
old photo album #8.
Mother dropped me off at a parking lot outside
the highway (E6) where Clas could pick me up
after work. But he called on the cell phone just
10 minutes later and said he was stucked in a
car queue from Gothenburg. Ok, I took a little
walk arround the neibourhood and waited. After
half an hour he called again and said it would
take some time because of an accident further
down the highway. Ok, I took the dogs to an open
field nereby and let them run free there for a
while and waited. And waited. After half an hour
he called again and said it would really take
some time, the police had to redirect the cars
to other roads 'cause the accident was major
with 3 big trucks (juggernauts). So we called
mother and she took us back home to her place
again. Pore Clas came after 2 hours having spent
nearly 4 hours in the car queue... -I should
have taken the train today!

On Saturday we
celebrated my mother in
law at her 70th Birthday!
We took old Timmy with
us as he really loves
people and especially
those who "accidentely"
droppes cake on the floor!
Today it was training day for Dallas but the weather was cold and the rain poored down so I cleaned the car inside instead. :-)

What a day, I'm so
pleased with Dallas!
Today we started a
training group with
spaniels, it was my
little blue boy among 5
springer spaniels
together with Mr. Bengt Svensson
as instructor.
Must say that Gibson
looked a bit surprised
when he went back home
in the car with Timmy
and Clas. -What? No
training for me??? Well,
they had a long walk in
the forest instead so I
don't think he
complained... Now, time
for some training. First
we had some information
about obedience, field
trial and some back up
about ourselfs and what
level we where on. Both
Dallas and two of the
springers had made the
water test so we had
some experience. Then we
started the practise
which went very well.
After a while Bengt
throwed some dummies
which was really teasing...
but a little reproof
made it clear that he
wasn't allowed to fetch
any dummy that came
along and he improved
himself. He even sat
still when a ball came
rolling! Now the
highlight of the day -
we had a stay still
position where we left
the dogs and then each
of us called in our dogs
seperatly. -Assar come!
-Honey come! -Lennon
come! This was a bit
tempting so one after
the other left their
position and ran to
their owner... only one
dog sat still and it was
my little Dallas, I'm so
IMPRESSED!!! -Dallas,
come! GOOD BOY!!! We
finished with a nice
picnic in the sun,
thanks for a really good
day!
The group and a tired

Sleeping like babies
after a show weekend.
Dallas and Timmy have
been at Gibson's son
Classe and Classe
himself with daddy to
SSRK's dog show in
Uddevalla. On Saturday Gibson was shown in
veteran class for Mrs.
Daphne Darby and gained
Best Veteran with
CC-quality and BOS-veteran!
Critic: "Very
nice black and tan, good
head, neck and shoulders,
very good body and coat,
nearly 10 years old,
moved very well". Gibson is, as you
all know, awarded as a
gundog which gave him a
4th place as BIS-Gundogs!
The day after he got a
nice critic from Dr.
Tamás Jakkel; "Lovely
masculine dog in
excellent condition,
nicely headed, good
balance and substance,
well angulated for- and
hindlegs, topline starts
to show his age"
and came 2nd Best
Veteran after Walter,
congratulations to BIS!
Classe (Bergkällans
Kawasaki Classic) got a 2nd in quality among several others in a
huge open class. He is
such a happy guy anyway! Gibson's
daughter Quila (Pipaluk's
Tequila Sunrise) gained 3rd place as Best Puppy, congratulations
Pia! We had fun days with our friends from
Shakima's, Sätra's
and Pipaluk's, thanks!

just to rull up our
sleeves and prune the
tree, dig up an ugly
juniper and plant a
cypress instead.
Amazing what small
sour muscles you find
that you normally
don't use... On Sunday
we went to Clas

congratulations Alice!

Sometimes you just
have to get a little
luxury for your self.
Yesterday my mother
and I were at
Varberg's Asia SPA!
They have a vitality
pool with 30 different
water massages, warm
bath, jacuzzi and
relaxing room with
thé and fresh fruits.
It was sooo nice!
Gibson's daughter
Clara, SLCH SVCH

is Mrs. Anita

congratulations!!! January

Gibson and I have been
away for the weekend.
We took the Swebus
Express to my friend
Pia where his old wife
Nona and their
children Quila and
Pekka lives at
Pipaluk's kennel. They
are so charming! New
pictures in their puppy
gallery. On Friday
afternoon we went to a
friends farm to give
the rabbits their food
which Gibson thought
were really exciting.
And on Saturday we
took a really long
walk in the woods. It
was over 2 dm of
powder snow, nearly
-10 degrees celcius
and a shining sun!
After that walk it was
so nice to come home
and sit by the open
fire with a warm coco!
Sunday was show day
for judge Mrs. Lilian
Jonsson at Strömsholm
with our friends from
Shakima's and Sätra's.
None of us got results
to brag about, Gibson
came 2nd Best
Veteran with
CC-quality. But we had
a fun day among
friends, thanks! A
huge THANKS to Pia for
your hospitality and
great dinners! On
Monday we took the bus
home again and Gibson
got credit for being
such a nice dog on the
bus. Our dear master
Clas waited for us in
Gothenburg and I think
all of my boys had
missed me, kisses to
you! January 23
Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather
again!
His daughter Cockerqueen's Arwen gave birth to a lovely
litter. Hugs & kisses to you,
Saga! And
I were there! The
whelping was calm and
easy, finally 7
wonderful babies were
born and Saga did such
a good job! Sure I
have experience of
dogs and especially
cockers but I have
never been a part of a
whelping before. I'm
just there when making
them *smile* This was
a great event, thanks
Anneli!
January 20
Gosh, now it's
finally snowing here!
We were looking
forward to the Spring
but Mother Nature
thought differently...
Yesterday we were at
my mother's for a nice
long walk in the sun
and on Wednesday we
celebrated my older
sister's 40th Birthday,
Happy Birthday sister!!!
My dear friend Anneli
at Cockerqueen's
kennel phoned this
morning but everything
was still calm. Her
Saga is whelping any
time now and she
promised me to join
her. Saga is Gibson's
daughter so it's going
to be so exiting to be
a part of the birth of
his grandchildren!!!
More info when I get
back! January

What a storm we had
here on the West
Coast! They warned
about the hurricane
but personally I
didn't thought is was
that tough. Well you
should not be cocky
over the power of
weather so it was a
reliefe it wasn't
worse! The dogs were
bisy sniffing around
in the wind and their
ears were flying
high.
Thank you all for sweet congratulations about Gibson's
place at the Veteran of the Year! Yes, he is a very youthful veteran and
also the oldest on the list. Must say it's a joy to see him so full of
life, over 9 years old! Unfortunately the other 3-4 veterans that are
competing didn't send their results, Gibson would be 3rd anyway but it's
more fun with more competition. Now this is not a bloody serious
competition for myself, most important is to have fun on the way up! My
youngster Dallas has now finished his first obedience course with top
score! Thanks to our instructors at our local working dog club, you're
the best! January 11
Had a sweet visit at Bergkällans
kennel and Gibson's
grandchildren! It's always nice to cuddle with puppies! We took a lot of photos, take a look at the
link. Gibson's claw is now fully recovered so
he has only a little sock on his foot as protection, thank you all for
caring! My sweet old Timmy got a lovely greeting from his lass, Jazzie!
Thank you so much, Anne!
January

Today we got a
dear visit from Gibson's
indian daughter
Ella (Shawnee)
with her family.
Look at father
and daughter here. We had a very
nice day with
grooming of a
hairy troll to a
sweet princess!
|
|
On Friday I went to
my mother's with Timmy
and Dallas. We took a
long walk down to our
beach and had a little
picnic, see photo
album
#29. Gibson went
with master Clas to
the office as he
cannot use his foot
that long and risk to
get the wound infected.
He's such a good lad,
he jumps up on the
toalet and stays still
when I change the
bandage. Then he knows
he gets a bisquit,
jumps arround on three
legs but realizes he
can use all four.

GIBSON 3rd VETERAN OF
THE YEAR!!!
|
|
January 2
We've had a very
pleasent New Years Eve. The dogs aren't affraid of fireworks, thank god.
They are used to gun shots
when practising at the field trial. Especially Gibson as he thinks birds
will fall down from the sky ;-) Poor Gibson, he hurt a claw on Friday. I
cleaned it and put a bandage on and then a funnel on his head. The prong is split vertical and the pulp is bare so the dog year started
with a visit to our veterinary today. My vet is a very sweet, competent
and careful vet who said it was lucky the pulp wasn't broken, in that
case she had to operate. Then Gibson got an anaesthetic shot and I could pick him up after an
hour. The vet had
removed the claw capsule, put an antiseptic bandage on with a blue sock. The claw capsule
(nail) is growing back in a week but the
bandage will be changes in 2 days and he's on pain killers and
penicillin for 10 days. The funnel is so clumsy and he managed to pull it back and nearly
lick on his bandage so I had to buy a nose muzzle instead. So now he
looks like a really mean beast *smile* He's of course not shown at My Dog
int. show in
Gothenbourg this weekend as planned. Sad but the main think is that he's
gonna be well! Our friends from Shakima's and Sätra's kennel is coming
to us for the show so I'm just going for some mingle.
