December 21
A lot of lovely Christmas Greetings, thanks!
Now we're back home from Munich and a lovely holiday!
We have celebrated Clas' 40th birthday and a wonderful surprise! A very special photoalbum will be coming soon...

CLAS - 17/12 2008

December 14
More lovely Christmas Greetings, thanks! Today the camera was with us at the long walk, so we have nice pictures at photoalbum #72. We've just been at Bergkällans, leaving our boys there for some days... Gosh, we miss them already... But we're off to Munich for a birthday party!

December 11
Wow, so many lovely holiday greetings we've got allready, thank you! Take a look at the link Christmas Greetings

December 9
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 4th litter is 5 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

December 6
We haven't the slightest bit of snow so yesterday the boys went for a game track. The Veteran did a beautiful clear track, good old fellow! The Young Rouster did some zigzag at an open field but otherwise a clear round. The Old Man was out of sorts so he stayed home in his basket. No we've just had a long walk and master Clas went for a cold dip in the ocean! Brrr... but they're having a sauna with a beer or two before, so they'll get a bit cocky! Tonight we're off to Maja's By The Sea, having an amazing Christmas dinner with friends!

December 3
Must reveal that under this autumn I have been at a ring secretary course at The West Kennel Club and yesterday it was time for the final test... Wow, I made it with flying colours and gained my bow! So now I'll work two times as a pupil and three times as a trainee before I get my diploma!

SUPER CONGRATULATIONS to Gibson's daughter Wilma (Cheyenne)!!! With mummy Lisa she won obedience class 1 at their debut competition with 186 points!

December 1
Isn't it nice with all the Advent candlesticks in the windows! This Friday we went to Christmas at Liseberg and enjoyed the huge Christmas smorgasbord, Christmas dinner (table). It's seven plates if you take everything in the right order: from pickled herring in different shapes, seafood, cold cuts, the varm table, the cheese table to the desserts and finally the candy table. Everything tasted so good! Even if you try to eat very slowly to really enjoy all the goodies... you feel like a stuffed pig at the end. Afterwards it was nice with a walk at the lovely Christmas Fair. It's so beautiful with all the ornaments and christmas candles in the trees! We completed the night with a drink at the Sky Bar, 23 floors above at Hotel Gothia Towers where we finally had a good nights sleep. Thanks darling for a wonderful weekend and thanks to my sister for taking care of our boys! On Sunday afternoon we light the first candle of the Advent and had some glögg (mulled wine) with our neighbour. Earlier in the week my mother and I picked some spruce twigs and moss at the long walk. So now we have made some outside decorations and later we're doing homemade Christmas cards, perhaps you'll get one?

November 23
We were looking forward to a real duck hunt today but the lakes are frosen so it was canceled... ½#¤%&! We had a nice long walk instead at Kadde Högar, see photoalbum #71.

November 22
Last time for the game tracking course.
Dallas did a clean track and got his diploma!
Good boy!

The Smokie consert was really really nice!
I had a perfect spot just 1 meter from the singer Mike
and sang along to the lyrics!
Thank you so much for a superb night!!!

November 21
Took the camera with me at the long walk so we have some nice pics with sun and frost, see photoalbum #70

Smokie is back in town again!!!
Tonight it's gonna be super at The Society! I've seen them before several times, last time they were here summer -07 and they're just awesome!!!

November 16
Time for game tracking course again and today all the boys were with us. Dallas was very careful to follow the track correctly with master Clas at the line! I thought the old boys, Gibson and Timmy, were going to be rusty but oh no, they did a clear track! After the course we got a flat-tire but luckily we have a small gasbottle in the car for jobs like this! It fills the tire with repair foam and pumps up it again, so easily! So forget about the jack and spare tire, it's history! Afterwards we could join my mother for a sunday dinner, thanks!

November 9
Now we have dusted the tracking harness 'cause today Dallas has been at a game tracking course! Our friend Marita at kennel Fraganza
made the arrangement, well organized as always! After a little review of the lesson we all got to try an easy track with our dogs. Dallas was a natural talent! He took the track like nothing and found the dear hoof, which he proudly carried back to my backpack. Then we all got to lay a track by ourselfs and took a nice coffee brake while the track had to lay for an hour. In the meantime it started to rain but when it was time Dallas made the track as clear as a bell, good boy! Afterwards I dryed him with the towel and put the dogquilt on, changed to nicer clothes and off to my father in law in Gothenburg as it's Father's Day. Or as the boys knows him as "Daddy Meatball", they remembers exactly at which door he lives and runs directly to the kitchen, puts on their sweet cockery face at the refrigerator...
Yesterday we spent in Scania at SSRK
Åstorp dog show for judge Mrs. Nina Karlsdotter, a new acquaintance. We also had Gibson's daughter Noella (Bergkällans Yamaha Virago) with us and at the show we met another daughter Ella (Shawnee) and Dallas' breeders, so time for a big hug again! Our West Coast Sallad Dallas gained 5th place in a big open class and our Veteran Gibson got a 3rd place after two champions. Congratulations to Dallas half brother as 3rd Best Dog! Time for Gibson's girls, sweet as always. They both got 1st prize but no place in a huge open class. I also would like to give a huge hug to Ella's little owners Hanna and Clara, two sweet girls that never complains. They have their games and pottering books with them and entertains themselves at a long show day. As my darling Clas with his Sweden Rock magazine ;-) We also took some really sweet pictures of Gibson and his girls, coming soon. This was probably Mr. Gibsons last performance... He carries his 11 years with honour and is extremely well preserved... But he has given me so much thru the years and deserves a good pension...

November 3
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIBSON!!!

Our precious Gibson is 11 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!

World's greatest Gibson!
As tradition it's hunting with THE big pheasant!!!
Congratulations, dearest friend!

We were lucky to run into some real pheasants...
so he truly had a fantastic day!
We have lovely pictures in photoalbum #69

October 30
Today we got a nice visit from Britta at Occi's kennel and two of her little cockerboys, Adam and Patrik, that my Dallas had fun with. He enjoyed playing with them as his old guys here at home are so boring...

October 26
Well, what won't you do for a good cause? We were functionaries at Halmstad Open Dog Show on sunday. The show it self were admittedly in a riding house, but it was raining cats and dogs all day long, so the parking space at a green field went from grass to pure mud! And the real problems started in the afternoon when people wanted to go home... You can surely imagine how it looked when nearly 300 cars tried to drive away? But fortunately we found a tractor behind the stable so we could help about 25 cars that were really stucked in the mud! So I'm truly proud of my darling Clas who were a helping hand at this "muddy job" - he was well worth his cognac when we came home!

October 24
Yesterday we went to Cockerqueen's for a visit and met Gibson's grandchildren, now 4 weeks old and of course so adorable! It's extra nice to meet Gibson's daughter Saga as she remembers me from when she was a little puppy, so we have a speciell cuddle-time. My old Timmy and Anneli's Bingo liked each other and played, my Dallas played with her youngsters and my Gibson is as usual just mummy's boy. Today it's raining but it doesn't matter as the boys are tired from yesterdays adventures so we're relaxing today. It's gonna be an active weekend, on Saturday we're off to watch a field trial and work at an open dog show on Sunday. Have a nice weekend!

October 20
We hope you all had a cosy weekend, we cleaned the car and took the long walk in the forest where the camera was with us, see photoalbum #68

October 17
The weather here is windy and rainy but we've had some sunny days as well so I took the camera with me on one of our long walks, see photoalbum #67

October 11
Me and the boys had such a nice thursday at the beach with my mother. The sun was shining and it was calm and cosy. Mother's persian Chewie was also with us at the outing and got a proper grooming and then laid back in the sun. We also made some wreaths, se pics at photoalbum #66. We've got good news about Gibson's daughter Wilma (Cheyenne) who has gained a lot of points this summer at agility, se here! Tonight we're gonna watch World Championship in Boogie-Woogie, Bugg and Rock'n Roll in our little town Varberg! Live on Channel 2 at 6 PM.

October 6   Yippi Yahoo!!!
"Test Performed: prcd Mutation Test for PRA. Sample Type: Blood. Test Results: Genotype of your dog is Normal/Clear." Oh my god, my heart stopped when I got the mail tonight... so Clas had to read the result for me... -Calm down honey, Dallas is normal!!!

September 28
Fun company! The golden retriever bitch Funny from FunCity came to us this friday for a week while her owners are in Germany. She is a really nice girl who enjoys our home, playing with the boys in the green fields and lays easy on the sofa with her belly in the air. "Mummy, it's really nice here!"

September 24
Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather again! His daughter Cockerqueen's Arwen gave birth to a lovely litter. Hugs & kisses to you, Saga!

September 23
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 1st litter is 8 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

September 19-22
We've had a lovely weekend again at Shakima's kennel. It was time for the big event - The Cocker Club 30'th anniversary Club Show and East County Cocker Club's open show! Mrs. Sally Wyatt, kennel Kendalwood, judged the males and Mrs. Leslie Spencer, kennel Terriles, the bitches on saturday and vice versa on sunday. Friday evening we did the final grooming and my warmest thanks to Lena at Sätra's kennel for a fabolous handstripping of my little blue boy! You are fantastic with your fingers! Pity Dallas wasn't announced for the Club Show... Congratulations to daddy Axel's (Shakima's Mambo) offspring and their great success on saturday with top places and nice placements even on sunday. Axel himself showed them in prodegy class to BIS!!! Myself had once again the honour to show Millan (Sätra's Gibson Flying V) which of course is a daughter to my Gibson. We got 1st in quality but no place among a huge intermediate class with 14 entries. She is a true sweetheart anyway! Not to forget my true old companion and precious Gibson who hasn't been at the Club Show for 10 years... So to honour the day he entried the WORKING CLASS! Well, even though he was the only qualified he gained CC-quality, so he also won BEST IN SHOW WORKING COCKER! Well done, my old fellow! *grin* Don't miss the huge bow and BIS-pics here! In the evening we had a lovely glamorous supper with the judges. We had a little cabin at the show ground and I got the upper bed, to Gibson's despair... Where did my mummy go in the dark??? Pitiful small abandoned whinings started and he just couldn't come to sleep... So finally I had to put the madrass on the floor so he satisfied could lay down by the hollow of my knees! I woke up early on sunday morning so I put the coffee kettle on, took some dogs for a walk and had a shower before my 3 other friends opened their sweet eyes :-) A problem came up but it was easy to solve as Mrs. Petra Funke at Winline's kennel offered to show my boys, thanks dear! So I got the job as ringsecretery for the girls at Mrs. Sally Wyatt, what a charming lady! My darling Clas already had the job in the boys ring for Mrs. Leslie Spencer, kennel Terriles. I looked with one eye at Dallas' open class and Gibson's veteran class but unfortunately none of them got a place in their huge classes. But it was fun to see another person showing my boys professionally. Congratulations to you all! When the show was over and everything cleaned up we went back to Shakima's kennel and relaxed. On monday we had a well earned rest and went home to our West Coast in the afternoon.

September 18
Today my boss from FunCity came in to town with her golden retriever bitch Funny, for some retrieving practice. But Dallas was with master Clas at work so Gibson had the pleasure to come along. Well, he is nearly 11 years old so it takes a few seconds more to find a dummy... But Funny run like a young colt of joy and really liked him! But even if she sucked up to him - his favourite dummy with rabbit scin she didn't get! No way!

September 14
Finally my darling is home!!! They have had a fantastic week at Mallorca with lots of sun, bath and day trips. And Majorica-pearls!!! The welcoming committé (me and the boys) made a welcome-home-honey-sign with hearts, paws and streamers, welcome drink and whitefish roe toast! The dogs (read us) was so happy that master came home so they danced, barked and howled like crazy! During the week I took a long walk with probably the last water retrieving for the year. It was a bit chilly in the air so it felt like the autumn is here now.
Nice pictures at photoalbum #65 (like we don't have enough water pics already *smile*) On Sunday I went with a friend to beautiful Sofiero in Scania at SKK Int. show for judge Mr. Cristian Stefanescu. And today you were lucky to get a 1st prize in quality! The 2nd's and 3rd's came thick and fast! For example it was 14 males in the open class and we were only 6 left so Dallas got that place with this critic: "Beautiful made in good condition. Good proportions. Good angulations. Very good in movement. Quality coat. Very good presentation." It was 4 veterans announced and Gibson got 2nd Best Veteran but not even so much as a prize of honour... Critic: "In excellent condition for his age. Beautiful expression. Typical proportions. Good substance. Quality coat. Good colour. Very good presented."

September 11
CONGRATULATIONS
!!!

Timmy's litter is 6 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

September 7
I'm so bored... my dearest is on Mallorca with his mother and sister... Of course you should take care of your sweet old mother and have some fun in the sun... But still I think it's boring here at home in the rain... It's not the same without you, honey!

August 30-31
Now the premiere at SSRK West's new showground in Gustavsberg/Uddevalla is done and show secretery is a bit tired today... It's incredibly much to organize at an official SSRK-show! So a hugh thank you to my absolutely perfect show committé!!! We got several nice words from spectators and exibitioners so it feels really good! For results and pictures, go to SSRK West here! I can inform you that a handsome COCKER won BIS! A hugh thanks to my dear friend Marika again as dogsitter, you're a doll! We thought that old Timmy would appriciate a weekend on his own with us so he came along! See here how he enjoyed the sofa at Best Western Carlia Hotel! During the day we took him for some small walks arround the show ground where he could mingel with others. In between he slept in our cottoncage by the secretariat or chewed on a bone so I think he had a nice day too.

August 28
Pity that I didn't have my camera with me on our long walk today! Timmy wanted an extra round to the "Well wood". It has a duck pond which has been dried out this summer but after the latest weeks of rain it's full again. Not that Timmy likes to swim very much but he enjoys strolling around. On the other hand the other boys appreciated a dip in the pond. Nearly at once they got company of the pond's inhabitants in form of half tame ducks! If I just had my camera I could show so sweet pictures of them, swimming around with the ducks! Afterwards they got a bath again... this time in the bathtub. So now the boys are clean and nice again! No, we're NOT showing at the SSRK show in Gustavsberg this Sunday... The Show Secretary are not allowed to show but I'll be there... so good luck to you all!

August 24
Perfect sunday outing! The West County of The Spaniel & Retriever Club arranged an Easy Water Test (EV) and Water Test (VP) 70 km from us in Halmstad so we took a trip there as spectators and photographer. And I wasn't a bit nervous as I had no dog to test! *grin* It was a pleasure to watch good dogs working for judge Mr. Uffe Westlund. Pictures at SSRK West. Afterwards I took the opportunity to try Dallas on a Water Test as we had both judge, sharpsman and pitcher in place. And my little darling did an excellent job! He went straight into the water, swum good throu the water lilies, took a good grip of the Common Goldeneye (Bucephala clangula) and delivered it right in my hand, good boy!!! It's a shame it's off the record and not on the paper... (He is approved at Easy Water Test in 2006). Then they had a blank bullet left so I could give Gibson "the old man at the sea" a chance to have some fun too! But he seamed to have lost both his sight and smell at the time so he missed the bird completely in the water... Heartbroken he came up and wondered where the bird was? And like a miracle he found another one on land that a nice person had left for him, anything to make a positive ending! Proud as a rooster he carried it all the way to the car. What ever makes you happy, honey!!! Well well, after that we had a nice dinner at my sister in Sloeinge on the way home, thanks!

August 21
On the long walk I found  a lot of small yellow sweet plums, so I put as many as I could in my cardigan. I found the name on the Internet as Prunus domestica ssp. insititia, Mirabelle, so I made a nice plum fool! Next time I will have a paper bag with me. And I've made sour pickled gherkin this afternoon too, what a real house wife I am! :-) But it's really nice to make use of what the nature gives. It tastes extra special when it's homemade. For example ice cream with warm blackberry jam is so yummy!

August 20
Yesterday I took Dallas to my boss from FunCity and practised retrieving with her golden retriever bitch Funny. It was very useful for both of them to sit passive and watch the other one working. And now it's only one day left... to what? Well, tomorrow it's free to have your dog loose in the nature!!! Not that mine have been on the leash all the time, he he! But between 1st of March and 20th of August there's this laws of nature to have respect for the animal life. So come on now spaniels, let's have some fun in the fields! Dallas is charged!!!

August 15
Darn, I get so disappointed... Got a phone call tonight telling me that The Base Test was cancelled because there were to few applications... I was really looking forward to try this with Dallas, as a soft start before the field trials... but oh no! Where are you, working Spaniels???

Today I anyhow had a really nice day at the coast in Kearradal with my mother. Timmy was with master at his work and amuzed himself like a king at the coffebrakes! So I took the bicycle with the carriage and the other boys and drove about 15 kilometers to the beach at Kearradal where mother joined us. It's a bit easier with only two dogs when I get away with 15 kg's. So now it's only 12 kg carriage + 15 kg Gibson + 13 kg Dallas, whitch makes a total of about 40 kg's! The weather was lovely and the boys really likes to ride in the carriage and sometimes they run loose beside it. At the beach we had a nice cup of coffee while the dogs entertained them selfs. See some nice pictures at photoalbum #64.

August 10
08-08-08 a magic date for wedding! Oh no, not ours! Invitation came from a college to Clas and the wedding was held at their house in Gothenburgs archipelago. Simple but so beautiful! This week the weather gods desided to have some rain... and it has surely rained "cats and dogs" all week! But fortunately they desided to let the sun shine this Friday so it was a perfect day for a wedding! The married couple were so lovely in the sunset!

SUPER CONGRATULATIONS to Gibson's fantastic daughter Clara (SLCH SVCH SAGCH SAG(HOPP)CH Tullebyns Two For The Show) Now Clara is also proud owner of the title AGILITY(JUMP)CHAMPION!!! What a performance - you are fabolous Mrs. Anita Pettersson!

July 31
It's fun to be missed when your gone for a week, I did some updates for others and now I had time for a new photoalbum #63. It's from our visit att the Ross family. Unfortunately there's only a few pictures with Marika from our Polen trip, 'cause a lot of people warned us not to have camera or cellphone in sight for thieves!

July 25-27
I've had a lovely weekend down in Scania at DeAnn Ross and her girls with Gibson's wife Lady (Shakima's Cacharel) and daughter Ella (Shawnee). Friday afternoon we groomed the last finish for the dog show at Southwest Cocker Club's 20th anniversery. We also met Gibson's daughter Elsa (Cherokee). Both girls are so sweet and gentle! At the show it was 108 entries for judge Mr. Rowland and Mrs. Beverley Webb (kennel Speechouse). We found a spot in the shadow and I started with DeAnn's adorable little Kiara (King Wizard Kamelia) and she really liked the show ring! With help of a meatball she stod still so beautifully and the tail wagging all the time! First she didn't get any place... but then the judge called us in especially for a price of honour and 6th place in Best Puppy class among 12 entries! Thank you! Later on it was time for my boys with Dallas in a huge open class. Among 13 entries he gained 4th place and price of honour! Thank you! Critic: "Good headed blue. Nice neck and shoulders. Short, deep body. Good legs and feet. Well presented. Showed well." Mr. Gibson wins 1st Best Veteran and price of honour as the charming gentleman he is! Critic: "Good headed black/tan. Kind expression. Good neck and shoulders. Correct topline and tailset. Deep body. Good legs and feet. Good angulations, front and rear. In lovely coat and condition. Moved well."

In Best Dog class Anneli Hultén was handler for Dallas, thanks! While the judge looked at each male I just had to run for my cool towel so dear old Gibson whouldn't faint in the heat! It was so hot standing in the ring under a burning sun! No placement for my boys but Mr. Gibson had Challenge Cups to compete for, like the years before, and he gained them as Best Tan & Best Tracking! In the meantime his daughter Ella gained a price of honour in a huge open class with 18 entries! Sorry that she missed the competition for Best Tan bitch... It had been so nice to see father and daughter side by side! In the finals he gladly gained the BIS-Tan! See happy pic here! Then he gave the other throuphy's to the ladies and became BIS-R Veteran and BIS-R Tracking! See BIS-pics here! Former Lukaskannan's Challenge Cup as BIS-Field Trial is proudly on the shelf from last year as Gibson won it for life! I must once again thank you all for your kind words about my Precious Gibson! "Congratulations! He's wonderful! He's in an amazing condition for his age, so full of life!" He was among the happiest and charmed a lot of people with his wonderful attitude!

At Sunday we went to a nice craft exhibition in Båstad. Sorry to see some dogs there in the heat, they should be at home in the shadow! Among a lot of things we found an exhibitioner that made ornaments from hair! So I let my long hair down and asked if she needed material *laughing* She also uses dog hair so if you're interested to have a memory of your pet, feel free to contact me! In the afternoon we took all the dogs to the beach for a cool swim and then my boyfriend Clas came down for supper and to bring us home. Thanks darling for taking care of Timmy and to Marika for taking care of Timmy while Clas was at the Iron Maiden Concert! "What ever makes you happy, honey!"

July 20-23
I got a hasty offer to go to a SPA-resort in Świnoujście, Poland with my dear friend Marika! After a little planning of dogsitter and changing working days everything was clear! We took the car to Ystad, the ferry at 10 PM and after a little sleep in a cabin and breakfast we arrived at 7 AM. We stayed at Hotel Sobótka with all included and a new SPA-resort. Click on the link for more information. We got several soft and relaxing treatments from head to heel under two days. It was just wonderful for your body and soul!
Fresch and fine we took a citywalk and discovered that a large beer was cheeper than a cup of coffee! The city was green and well kept despite the low economy in Poland. We saw healthy dogs and cats walking around in harmony on the streets. We had only one problem and it was that almost nobody talked English! Just Polish and German but we talked none of them... Well, we found the famous market down by the German border where you can buy a lot of things very cheap, shopping-time! Some clothes, presents and of course conjac to Clas! My warmest thanks to you and mum for taking care of the boys! We had a lovely visit and I thank Marika from the bottom of my heart!

July 18-20 INVASION!
This weekend our little town were invaded by Wheels & Wings. This is a big show event every year with old cars, motorcycles and aeroplanes, so we had some nice days with picnics and Bar-B-Q, druling over georgeos cars... I saw my favourite Ford Mustang -68! Tonight my dear friend Marika and I will go to Poland! 4 days with luxury and SPA!

July 15
On Crown Princess Victoria's Birthday we had some practice with Leo & Wille, nice pictures in photoalbum #62.

July 10 - 13
We've had our dear old friends and Dallas breeders Shakima's & Sätra's here for the weekend. Friday was show day at SKK Tvååker for judge Mr. Frank Whyte and I started with Gibson's grandson Filip (Bergkällans Chevrolet Impala). It was his first time out with no practice but despite that we managed to gain a 3rd place in junior class with Price of Honour! The judge did like my little blue bird Dallas and he felt sorry to give him a 2nd in quality because he "would prefer just a little more foreface to complete balance". Well, I've heard that before... It's a shame that this little centimeter will spoil his chances... But this little nose can carry a full-grown mallard! *proud* Well well, better luck for his family as daddy Axel (Shakima's Mambo) got 6th place in a huge open class. Cousin Rakel (Shakima's Let's Dance) won junior class with CC-quality and Emmy (Shakima's Frosty Milk) gained 2nd place with CC-quality and me on the leash! Gibson's granddaugter Alma (Bellasikos Red Rubin) just got 1st in quality in a huge open class. Rakel desperately close to the CAC outside Best Bitch! Shakima's gained Price of Honour as breeders group! Afterwards we picked up my old boys at home and went for a long walk in the fields. Unfortunately I forgot the camera! In the evening we had a bar-b-q and a glass of nice red.

July 12
 CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 9th litter is 2 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

On Saturday our friends went to the well-known cheap department store Ge-kås, just 20 minutes from our town, while "pore" master Clas was dog-sitter. So it was just Mr. Gibson that had his beloved mistress all by himself at the dog show. He was in a splendid mood and judge Mrs. Jessie Borregaard-Madsen showered him with praise! On the critik it says: "Excellent type. Nearly 11 years old in excellent condition. Masculin head and expression. Fantastic teeth. Very nice neck and topline. Well-built rib-cage. Excellent shoulders. A bit low in croup. Well angulated. Excellent coat condition and structure. Attentive and well going for his age. Congratulations" Well-known Ch. Quettadene Lancelot won 1st and Mr. Gibson gained 2nd Best Veteran with only a Price of Honour??? But we had a nice day among old and new friends, thanks! In the evening we had a cosy night with cheese and crackers. Next day I think Dallas, aka West Coast salad, was satisfied when his relatives went home so he could have a bit of peace and quiet ;-)

July 9
Gosh, what a sweatheart!!!
I would gladly take him home... but... our dog quota is full... This little handsome boy is Gibson's grandson and he lives at Bergkällans kennel. We were there for a visit and took photos of the litter, 3 weeks today, so do enjoy them at the site. Some of them are for sale!

Now in the afternoon Robin's (Cockerqueen's Robin Hood) family came home from their vacation. We had a nice time with him, he's very sweet and gentle. Take a look here.

July 5
We took a walk by the beach around the fortress on thursday evening and ate icecream down by the rocks, cosy! Our little town is really blooming this time of year with lots of tourists and events. For instance it was a display of agility in the park. And yesterday we lissened to Kim Larsen from Gazolin. Now when everybody else is in the big city Stockholm and the World Winner Show we've got a nice boy at home! It's Gibson's son Robin (Cockerqueen's Robin Hood) who will stay for a visit while his family is on vacation in Holland.

July 3
Now the summer heat is here again and you have to remember that everybody needs water! Magpies for exsample drinks from the bird bath in our garden. In photoalbum #61 there's some more pics and one with Timmy and his birthday-pancake :-)

Oooh, thanks a lot to Ann-Sofie for this lovely seagull-picture! No she also knows I just looove seagulls! She's a good photographer and has her own PHOTO EXHIBITION!

June 29
Yesterday I were with Dallas at a Shaping-course which is for me a new experience in obedience learning. First Dallas had to be "inshaped" to learn that a click means treat and this was truly paradise for a cocker, just to get a treat for doing nothing! Click - Treat - Click - Treat - Click - Treat - Click - Treat - Click - Treat... Then we tried to mark at a stick and yeah Click - Treat! During the day the instructor mixed teory with practise and we had a nice day! Thanks Sanna and Jonas for nice company as always!

June 25
Well... I've heard a lot but never me being an IDIOT!? Yesterday I was at mum's place and took a walk across the other side of the village. After a while we met a huge enormous black beast with his tiny little owner... We had our dogs in leash so I thought it would go well... But typically she can't hold her mixed breed as he turns around us with his neckhair like a wild boar! So I turned around and snapped at him to get lost! I got a bit worried and snapped at her too to "Handle her damned dog" And strangely ? she gets angry and yells at her dog/me to "Stop, for heavens sake!" Stop, you bloody idiot, so I can catch him!" But that is something I will NOT do!!! If I had stopped it would surely be a dogfight and the beast would eat my darlings alive! So I didn't answer and kept going with steady steps so she could get hold on her dog. It was lucky for both of us that he wasn't that bad... 'cause if he would start a fight I wouldn't take responsibility for my actions against him... I'm the leader of our pack and I defend my babies with tooth and nail! WHY isn't there a DOG-DRIVING-LICENCE!???

June 22
We've had a wonderful event at my sister's among 25 people celebrating Midsummer's Day with a classic swedish table; herring, snaps, new potatoes, strawberries, b-b-q, rounders and a jolly good time! Otherwise we're enjoying the summer days as they come, right now the breeze is strong from the ocean!

June 19
Yesterday we had a fun day with Anneli and her new little blue girls at Cockerqueen's. And we lads showed them how fun it is with water and retrieving dummies! Nice pics in photoalbum #60. We've just got nice news about Gibson's son Milton (Sätra's Gibson Firebird) that he came 2nd in junior class with CC-quality at SKK's show in Avesta for Mrs. Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen. Huge congratulations! See him and his big bow here! We wish you all a Happy Midsummer!

June 17
Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather again! His daughter Bergkällans Yamaha Virago gave birth to a lovely litter. Hugs & kisses to you, Noella!

June 16
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIMMY!!!

Our beloved Timmy is 12 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Dear old Timmy-Tim!
You really have "the old man's charm"!
It's a joy to explore an honourable age and still be happy and healthy!
We're thankful for each and every day you bring gladness in our lives!

Yeees... soon you will have your juicy bone ;-)
and then it's pancakes!

June 10
Oh, the pictures from the hunting course are amazing! Huge thanks to photographer Mr. Patrik Redvall!

June 8
Yes, sir! We went to SKK Vänersborg for Mr. Rui Goncalves, Portugal. We had a light baggage and found a nice shady spot among the trees. Only Dallas was shown today and despite the summer heat he gained 3rd place in open class with CC-quality! No place in Best dog and then we went straight home to our old boys at home and just relaxed in the shade. We also got very nice news that our old friend Chaplin at the age of 13 gained his last CC on Friday and became a "true" show champion, SUCH! He has the field trial award so he doesn't need the parenthesis SU(U)CH. Huge congratulations to his owner Carina, I'm so happy for you!

June 5
Oh, the pictures are so wonderful! Huge thanks to photographer Mr. Patrik Redvall and his enormous Nikon!

May 31 - June 1
A huge thank you to Bengan & Marita for such a jolly weekend and hunting course! Thumbs up for Dallas, I'm very pleased with him! For instance Dallas did a difficult water retrieving and it was so perfect! It was nearly 40 meters long and as I got the mallard in my hand and heard the applause I got proud tears in my eyes...

May 25
One day you're beautiful and the other you're clever! That's a true dual purpose! It's so wonderful to see the happiness and especially my oldie still going strong! Today was the last time for this season with our spaniel practise. It was time for water retrieveing so I got a seagull and mallards with me and Gibson was so excited coming with us! First we trained with dummies and then I introduced the seagull for some of the dogs. It showed to be a bit rank so none of them fetched it... but my old dear faithful Precious Gibson got it like nothing! He was then also the retriever during the day to them who didn't fetch their mallard. What about Dallas? Oh yes, he was like a fish in the water and a very good boy! A huge thank you to Sanna and Johan for your sweet hospitality!

May 24
If you're a true doglover so were to be on your birthday unless on a dog activity? At this time of the year The West Cocker Club has its show and  Mrs. Pam Walker, kennel Cardamine, was invited to judge 94 announced cockers. First out was Gibson's son Nikki (Pipaluk's Maverick) which got a very nice critic but no placement in youngsters class. Dallas, my blue english type gained 5:th place in open class: "Very cockery blue, not a big one but everything in proportion, moved very well and happily". Mr Gibson showed himself and gained Best Veteran with an amazing critic!!! "Eye catching black and tan. Beautifully constructed. Excels in head, neck and shoulders. All quality! All cocker! Super type!" And among lots of nice dogs he was picked out among the best of five and gained 4th Best Dog! ;-) Later it was time for his daughter Ella (Shawnee) in a huge open class among 20 bitches! So it was very hard competition but she made a nice inpression. In the final Gibson was a gentleman and gained BIS-R Veteran and last years Challenge Cup to Best Tan to an adorable Matchpoint bitch! Congratulations to you all and thanks!

All my love to my darling Clas for a wonderful evening!!!
He had arranged so beautifully and made such a gourmet supper!
* Salmon & schrimptoast
* Fillet of beef in bacon with creamy potatoes au gratin
* Strawberrymousse

As and old bartender and head waiter he served
suitable beer to the starter,
an excellent gran reserva -99 to the main dish
and the liqueur Tequila Rose to the dessert.
YUMMY!!!
And not forget the generous presents!
You can imagine it's still fun having birthday! ;-)

May 19
Huge congratulations to Gibson's lad Nikki (Pipaluk's Maverick) at SÄKK open show winning BOS!

We have now seen the earth from above and the clouds are so beautiful in the sunshine! We took a longer journey over the weekend to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, for the second time and this weekend it was The Swedish Spaniel & Retriever Club's annual meeting 2008 at Nova Park Hotel. As delegates from SSRK West Clas and I could take the plane which only took 45 minutes, great! It was an interesting weekend with full service and nice company together with representatives of spaniels and retrievers departments in our country. Thanks to our dear dogsitter Ms. Marika, you're a doll!

May 14
We have lovely springphotos in photoalbum #55. Gosh, the lilac is almost in bloom and the lily of the walley is already in bud! In the afternoon Anneli came by for a short visit and showed her new  surprise, a blue little darling! We welcome "Iris" to Cockerqueen's kennel! Nikki-boy (Pipaluk's Maverick) sent some pics from his agility practise, really fun!

May 11
Sunny Sunday! We had a wonderful picnic and there's nice pictures in photoalbum #57.

May 11
 CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 7th litter is 3 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

May 10 Happy news - DALLAS HAS FREE HIPS!
April the 30 I finally got myself to X-ray Dallas hips... they looked fine... and today I got the result that he is hip scored clear! He has a new lovely stacked picture at his site. Yesterday Gibson's son Nikki (Pipaluk's Maverick) was here for a grooming and he is such a sweet boy! Today I've been at an information day at Fun City where I'm going to work as a camping host over the summer, it will be fun! And the best is that I can have the dogs with me! Most welcome to Fun City - Entertainment Park! Tonight we're having a bar-b-q celebrating Dallas hip score and my summer job :-)

May 7
Here at the west coast the sun is shining under a clear blue sky! Today we had a real nice day with Marika at Lahall. We took the picnicbasket and some water dummies and had some water retrieving practise at the beach. The camera was with me and I think I took over 70 pictures, I do love my system camera! Don't miss 4 new albums with our Beach Boys!

May 4
Second last time for this season with our spaniel practise today. This time Gibson's grandchild Sota were joining us and she was a true natural! We were all very good with nice results. Next time we will finish the practise with water retrieving and b-b-q on the Pheasant Road! On thursdday our old friend DeAnn and her Hanna were here for a nice visit with Gibson's wife Lady and their daughter Ella. See a sweet family picture here

Our warm thoughts to Dallas grandfather Hansi (Ch Midnight Train Vom Rauhen Holz) and grandfather Tango (Ch Corralet Tango) who both left the world as legends!

April 25-27
Relaxation at Dallas breeder Ann-Catrine and Bracke at Shakima's. You really enjoy the country style. On Saturday there was a sweet little market in their tiny village and in the evening we were invited to Lena and Claesse at Sätra's for a nice supper. On Sunday we took a trip out in the country to look at a croft for sale and it was really a haven! Thanks for another lovely weekend! A greeting from Gibson's lad Milton (Sätra's Gibson Firebird) and some pics from the vacation in photoalbum #54.

April 24
Today we visited Gibson's adorable grandchildren and had a lovely afternoon in the garden with the puppies, 8 weeks old. Enjoy the photos here!

April 23
 CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 10th litter is 1 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

April 22
Cosy greetings from Gibson's lass Ella (Shawnee), thanks DeAnn!

April 19-20
Now we've had b-b-q premiere! On Saturday we were at Åby Trotting Course and watched Torwald Palema win The Olympic Trot 2008. In the evening we had some friends over for dinner, it's someting extra to eat a charcoal grilled loin of pork in the garden! And today we had our first picnic! You who know me well know that I just LOVE picnics! So we had a long walk in the enclosed pasture-land and then enjoyed the cup of coffee and cinnamon bun in the sun and had a wonderful day! See some Spring photos in photoalbum #53 NB! Gibson's lad Milton (Sätra's Gibson Firebird) came 3rd with HP in junior class for Mr. Tord Lundborg, kennel Line Sam, at SKK Västerås, congrats!

April 12-13
Time for a longer journey over the weekend to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and The Spaniel and Retriever Club's functionary meeting 2008. A huge THANK YOU to our friend Marika who took such good care of our boys! We had a pleasent weekend at Radisson SAS Hotel in Frösundavik together with representatives of spaniels and retrievers departments in our country.

April 9
Dallas and I travelled by train again and arrived at Gothenburg around 17 PM. This time we took the walk along the little stream instead of through the city as it was rush-hour, the sun was shining and we had plenty of time to our VIP-evening at The Pet Shop. Frida had made snacks for both two- as fourlegged and lots of nice VIP-offers. I bought for example schampoo + conditioner from John Paul Pet and some treats of course. Dallas the little scrimp was actually the biggest dog in the company among at least 15 Chihuahua, Miniature Schnauzer and Bichon Frisé and he had a fun time playing with them. Later on it was time for the photo session and Dallas was very photogenique, it will be fun to get the CD and pick out the photos for his Dog Model portfolio! Then our master Clas came after his work to pick us up and Dallas was a tired but happy dog, he got lots of loving words for his social behavior ;-)

April 8
 CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Gibson's 8th litter is 2 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

April 4-6
This weekend we've been at SSRK's double dogshow in Uddevalla where only Gibson was registered. On Saturday Mr. Peter Swigciski placed him 2nd as Best Veteran. Pity the CC-quality and Best Working Dog & Best Veteran Dog was overwritted on the critic..? But we congrat our old pal "Chaplin" to the victory! On Sunday for Mrs. Hilda Parkingson we had a really joyful day even if it wasn't my precious Gibson's at all, but let's start from the beginning. First I had the pleasure to show sweet baby Hulda (Sätra's Samba) and she danced all the way to Best Babybitch and BOS-Baby! And then I had the honour to show Gibson's black daughter Millan (Sätra's Gibson Flying V) and what a drive we had! She took the ring with me like nothing and among 15 junior entries she gained 5th Best Junior! What a joy! Daddy is so proud! But as it was a change of judge for puppies and juniors, due to too many entries, the show rings collided so they had to wait for the veterans. Gibson was ready but not warmed up so I dashed straight out into the next ring with him, poor lad! So the result was the same with just a 2nd place... Well well, the future belongs to his offspring, isn't that so?! In open class his red daughter Quila (Pipaluk's Tequila Sunrise) got 1st in quality in a huge class of 20 entries. Both days the judges gave several 2nd and even 3rd price in quality so we're pleased. Then we really enjoyed watching Dallas grandma Annie (Shakima's What A Surprise) to 3rd Best Bitch and BOB-Veteran! In Shakima's Breeder's Group I had the honour to show Rakel (Shakima's Let's Dance) - BIS at Cocker Of Cockers Puppy Cup last weekend - and we gained 1st place among 3 cocker groups. In the finals on Saturday we gained BIS-R and on Sunday we managed to be BIS-3! Later on we were jumping high of joy watching Annie showing off - all the way to BIS-Veteran!!! Way to go, grandma! Huge congratulations to you all for the nice results and thanks for nice company as always and a fun time at our Bed & Breakfast! Besides there are sweet pictures of Gibson's proposal last weekend in photoalbum #52

March 30
First a huge congratulations to Rakel (Shakima's Let's Dance) and BIS at The Cocker Club's Cocker Of Cockers Puppy Cup! Dallas, cousine to Rakel, has been at the first hunting practise of the year and it was fun to meet our spanielgang and new once! Yesterday we went to Åby tracking course. But this time no harness racing as West Shih Tzu Club had an open dog show. A splendid Gibson was shown and gained 2nd Best Dog and BOB-Veteran! In the final he got a nice 4th place as BIS-Veteran! Frida from The Pet Shop were there and invited us to her Customers Evening in April. A professional photographer is also invited and he will make a portfolio for our Dog Models, isn't that cool!

March 28
Winter greetings from Gibson's daughter Elsa here, thanks!
Yesterday I went with a friend to the cheap discount warehouse called Ge-kås. It's famous all over the country and we have only 30 minutes drive from our town! As usual I shouldn't have any special but still I had two full paper bags with we home! The dogs knows where the goodies are and finds them - dryed pig ears! As a dog person you are always drawed to the pet department and this time I found a super cheap basket so it went down in the trolley among a dog sweater for old Timmy. You have to take extra care of the old one's keeping them warm and muscles and joints in condition. Look at some things in photoalbum #51

March 26
Thanks for all the Easter greetings! Sweet greetings from Gibson offspring, see Ella here and Bella here, thanks! We've had a lovely Easter holiday among nice friends and lots of good food off course. On Easter Eve we were at my father-in-law and on Easter Day we were at my mum's place and ate her famous fish soup with saffron. The evening continued with my sister and her partner and Irish Coffee!

The dogs truly love the snow! We have now over 1 dm snow like most of South Sweden and a long walk in the fields are not a good idea... I didn't have any "winter oil conditioner" left but now the snow is like powder so it doesn't stuck in the fur like giant snowballs. Before we walked arround our whole housing area, where the sidewalks are ploughed and with sand. Varberg City does not put salt on the roads which is merciful for both cars and paws!

March 20
We haven't had any snow all winter until now!? On monday it came almost 1 dm over the pore daffodils in our flower bed... But today the sun is shining and we've been to mum's place. We went for a really long walk all the way to our little beach which takes about an hour. There we enjoyed a cup of coffee, a light breeze and a clear blue sky! Dallas were strolling by the seashore, Gibson collected feathers and Timmy were sunbathing. Unfortunately I forgot the camera but similar pictures can be seen "easter at our beach" in photoalbum #12. HAPPY EASTER!

March 14
Now we have pictures in photoalbum #50 from the walk yesterday and the hamburger party!

March 13

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALLAS!!!

Our darling Dallas is 3 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Here is Dallas' new squeeking toy - a pirogue!
There are more pics in photoalbum #49

At his birthday you get a hamburger
and it's much appreciated!!!
We're going for a walk in the city
around The Fortress of Varberg
and then to McDonalds!

March 12
Many birthdays this month... an almost at the same time! March is full of birthday partys, my sisters children is 7 and 16 years, and our sweet mother also has her day even if it's of a more stored vintage :-) We all gathered at The Salmon Restaurant for a tasty lunch and then coffee, cake and presents at my sister's place. Even among the fourlegged it's lots of birthdays this month. Three litters of Gibson's offspring as here below and not to forget the little schrimp Dallas The Dog Model will be 3 years on Thursday!

Dallas The Dog Model is also a clever boy full of passion. Almost every Tuesday it's free obedience practise at our local Working Dog Club. First they have a lay-still in 4 minutes with 4 shots and he managed it almost perfectly. But this time I felt testing again with a teaseing toy so I throwed it at the 3rd shot and he did raise and slowly walked to the toy... -No no! But after 1 minute laying still and the 4th shot came and I throwed the toy for a second time he just layed still perfectly, good boy! After that we trained some odedience as usual and some jumping over the small fence. Then we practised retrieving the woodstick which is his favourite. Who can resist to fetch a heavy piece of wood?

March 10
 CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Wonderful news - Gibson has become a proud grandfather again! His daughter Cockerqueen's Tinkerbell gave birth to a lovely litter. Hugs & kisses to you, Tindra!

February 29 = intercalary day
Well, now Dallas is introduced as a Dog Model! The red carpet, pitch torches and a nice porter welcomed us to the fashion show! We all gathered some hour before the show and got a delicious plate and wine in the dressing room. In another room they had the cosmetics and hairstylers. The dogs had their fabric cages in a calm space among the models and seemed peaceful. We got a paperbag with our dog clothes and a note of which order they entered, so everything was under control. The dog models were introduced and Dallas got a really nice girl who liked him a lot and thought he smelled so good! (he was of course newly groomed and had a bath the same morning with the "fine" shampoo) 100 persons were invited to the fashion show and first they mingled with the delicious plate and drinks. During that hour people from Kicks Cosmetics showed a make-up and Salong Studio K a hair creation. Then it was time for the fashion show with clothes from Oh Deer, Change, Peca, Pistill and dog clothes from The Pet Shop. We stod behind a jalusi next to the dressing room so unfortunately we missed a lot of photos and some of them not in good qualité... But please take a look in photoalbum #46 for some nice ones. We had a really nice event among spotlights, camera flashes, glitter and glamour!

February 27
I'm so incrediably proud of my little schrimp! Today Dallas has been in the big city, Gothenburg. Talk about social mental test! The streets were full of people and trams! Just to go from the Central Station to Vasa Town through the mall Compass among a muddle of people was a great exploit with a supersweet Cocker Spaniel! But as he says - as long as mum is with me everything is ok by me! Our goal was THE Pet Shop which is a fashion shop for dogs. We had a nice time trying on some different shirts and collars. For we're invited to a fashion show! *drums* and DALLAS is going to be a Dog Model! Gosh, I never thought we would fancy this business... but if you have a supersweet Cocker Spaniel with a sense of humour I guess anything goes! Well, as the retrieving birddog he is, he will also carry a little vanity case so he's dressed for success! *smile*

February 23
Way to go! After 5 month break from the show ring we had a nice day at West Bird Dog Club's Open Show for judge Mr. Jens Högsander. Dallas, the little schrimp, came 4th Best Male in Adult class and Gibson, the pleasing veteran, took BOB-Veteran! (See here) After a looong day he finished among 8 veterans with a nice 3rd place as BIS-Veteran! Congratulations to Marie and Tia to a lovely 2nd place in the big BIS!

February 21
Poor me... On Monday I woke up with a body like a ragdoll and didn't had the strength to do anything. The whole body ached and boom - I got so sick! So this week we haven't done much. Great to have a boyfriend who comes home in the afternoon and takes care of us. I did managed to take small walks with the boys every day but afterwards I felt like a mess. So a traditional flu was spent in the sofa with lots of vitamin C, hot thé and handkerchiefs. Today I feel a bit better just having a cold...

Februari 17
Poor Timmy has been at the dentist on Friday for the first time in his 11½ years old life. All my boys have really good teeth with no tartar so they have never been to the Vet for that occasion. You always get sweet kisses from them all but lately Timmy's hasn't been the most tasting. Two front teeth have seen better days so I booked a visit to the Vet. She was impressed by the condition of his other teeth but these two needed to go. At the operation she also discovered a bad tooth in the back that surely caused the bad breath. So now Timmy has a gap between his teeth but a brilliant polished smile and no toothache! And I'm 2.000sek poorer but who's counting when you get fresh kisses!

Today we've had a long lovely walk in the forest with coffee. In the afternoon we had dinner at mum's place.

February 14
What an exclusive Valentine's Day! My darling and I spent some lovely hours at Varberg Asia SPA and in the evening we had a romantic dinner at Best Western Stadt Hotel. THANKS HONEY, you're simply the best!

February 12
Yes, watch out for the amateur photographer! I had the pleasure to buy Anneli's (Cockerqueen's kennel) digital system camera! It's a nice and smooth model I've practised before and now it's mine! Thanks pal!

February 10
Yesterday we were at Occis kennel for some grooming, chat and fun. The sun was shining, as always with Britta :-) She took some adorable head pictures of Gibson and Dallas as Timmy has a kind of "cocker-poo" hairstyle for the moment so he refrain from beeing a top-model. Thanks for a lovely day!

We have had a temporary "bed & breakfast" over the weekend. I saw an advertise about a red missing cat so I managed to get the one from our bicycle-carriage indoors with a piece of ham. He was so skinny and starwed so I gave him dogfood as well. Then he was satisfied and purred in my lap. We didn't reach the owner so the cat stayed in the kitchen over night, having a cosy time in a basket. In the morning dogs and cat were having breakfast together and in the afternoon the owner came, having joyful tears in her eyes. "Billy the cat" had been lost since new years eve! It feels great to make a person happy!

February 9
CONGRATULATIONS
!!!
Gibson's 5th litter is 4 years old today!
Hip, hip, hurrah!

Birthday pics from Gibson's daughter Bella (Bergkällans Suzuki Intruder) here, thanks!

February 8
Yesterday we had a nice visit from Britta at Occis kennel. Her company this time was a huge lovely beast and two adorable little dolls. The beast was the German shepherd Elsa which we haven't seen since she was a puppy last summer and the dolls were the sweetest cocker girls Barbie and Tilda. My old Timmy fell in love with Barbie-doll and was her shadow most of the day. We had a nice long walk in the sun and the dogs played a lot when we came to the football yard. Back home we had coffee and Britta's favourite ice-cream! Today they weather is grey and boring again and guess what we discovered in our bicycle-carriage? Yes, a red cat was laying there, having a cosy shelter from the rain!

February 3
Took my little camera with me on our long walk in the SUN, this wonderful welcoming revelation! See photoalbum #46

February 1
Wow, talk about being envious in this terrible weather! A friend is in Thailand and now I got an e-mail from my sister. She's on a luxury cruise in Caribbien! Lots of exotic food and umbrella drinks, bathing in the ocean with cristal clear water. Swimming with stingrays at Caymans Island. Visiting Maya temple in Cozumel, Mexico etc.

January 30
What have you done now, you little schrimp!? I found some suspicious things belonging to my little digital camera... Well, I found the camera in Dallas' basket, where he always save his "finders keepers". Oh yes, there's the battery and the memorycard as well! But darn, now the camera won't work? But it did, lucky schrimp! See some pics in photoalbum #45.

January 28
We've got a lovely greeting from Gibson's daughter Smilla (Cockerqueen's Cinderella) thanks! This Sunday we went to the big city Gothenburg for a family meeting. The boys had a fun time sniffing at corners, trees and in a park.

January 23
Gibson's grandchildren after his daughter Saga (Cockerqueen's Arwen) is 1 year old today! Her first litter is extra special to me beacuse I were there when she whelped! It was an exciting moment to be a part of a whelping... all the waiting and preparations... the butterflies in the stomage when the time comes... you welcome the first little puppy into the world... everything went smooth and easy... Saga was such a good mother... and the puppies were adorable! Is there anything sweeter than a warm and lovely puppy in your arms!

January 19
Now the discussed storm has calmed a bit and the sun is even shining! But last night at the evening walk it felt like it was raining nails from the sky! Timmy refuses to go out when it's pouring with rain so he does a quicky in the garden. Today the boys had a bath 'cause we're going for a little birthday party tonight, nice!

Gibson's daughter Clara (SLCH SVCH SAGCH Tullebyns Two For The Show) is #2 AGILITY COCKER OF THE YEAR 2007! Proud owner is Mrs. Anita Pettersson. Huge congratulations!!!

GIBSON 4th VETERAN OF THE YEAR!!!

January 12
Nothing much done here during the week but the dogs had a good tracking which were much-appreciated. One day we had some snow here on the West Coast but otherwise it has rained most of the days. The shed has been a mess for some time so one rainy day I desided to tidy it up and clear away unnecessary things. Among other I found the old dog stuff that I can give to charity, well done! Oh, we've got a lovely greeting from Gibson's son Elliot (Pipaluk's Braveheart) so nice!

January 3
Isn't it unleashing to go to a dog show without a leash? Well, I had no dogs to show so I just mingled with my mother at My Dog Gothenburg. We did some shopping and among other I bought an excellent new dog cage, which was lost when the Police found our old car. When I looked at all the beautiful cockers I must admit my handler-hand was exciting, expecially as I have a dog myself with drive!
